bravesirkevin: Lots of strange creative choices on that guy. Roman crest, renaissance era halberd, armour that looks more appropriate for motorcross than combat. I had reasons at the time, but they've gone foggy now. :) Still, I think he's got a lot of character. Oct 7, 2015 16:22:44 GMT -9
cowboyleland: Cool fig. Thanks Kevin! I'm not sure why or how he wears his paldrons over his cape, but as long as he is happy... ;) Oct 7, 2015 8:33:57 GMT -9
bravesirkevin: Here's another free paper mini! Oct 6, 2015 5:54:53 GMT -9
bravesirkevin: There's also a complex build and a simple build. At the very least there's likely to be a few different colour schemes, but probably not alternative deco. Sept 29, 2015 16:42:40 GMT -9
bravesirkevin: As it stands, the fountain has multiple options for the floor so that you can put it in any of our dungeons and the meadow, and also has a couple generic circular bases so that you can just put it anywhere. Sept 29, 2015 16:37:35 GMT -9
wyvern: Also liking the look of that forthcoming fantasy fountain (I'm not usually a Facebooker - Facebookworm?). Will it have a range of skin options (for both liquid and stonework)? Sept 29, 2015 12:43:12 GMT -9
wyvern: Link to the Kev's Lounge Facebook page to collect your free Dwarf Pitfighter (not riding a goat, sadly...), if you're not a regular Facebooker. Sept 29, 2015 12:40:24 GMT -9
bravesirkevin: PS. There's a new Kev's Lounge free mini on the Papercraft Dungeon facebook page. Sept 29, 2015 3:14:31 GMT -9
bravesirkevin: I've gotten to a point where I do all my drawing with my wacom tablet and only use pencils when I need to fill in the 7 Wonders score sheet :P Sept 29, 2015 3:13:43 GMT -9
lightning: :) Sept 28, 2015 12:18:07 GMT -9
yifferman: take easy , whit practice youcan understand teh wacom Sept 28, 2015 11:12:35 GMT -9
lightning: aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh! drawing with the wacom is driving me crazy! i know it will be worth it in the end but until i get there the difference to what i am able to draw with pen and paper is sooo frustrating ... sry for the vent :-) Sept 28, 2015 10:39:55 GMT -9
Cardstock Dane: Interesting. I don't own Illustrator, but I have access to it at uni. I'll check it out. Thanks! Sept 28, 2015 9:48:14 GMT -9
mproteau: For sure, if you have Adobe software, use it. I was shooting for using free software in the guides I am putting together. Sept 28, 2015 6:25:58 GMT -9
bravesirkevin: You can actually create pre-sets with all the right settings, and that's a huge help Sept 28, 2015 3:31:30 GMT -9
lightning: just need to make sure to export PDF of higher version ( i think 1.7 and above) as lower versions do not support the layered PDF. Found this out the hard way trying to export to PDF high print quality setup from Illustrator which used PDF 1.5 :-) Sept 27, 2015 21:54:21 GMT -9
bravesirkevin: If you have those, then creating a layered PDF is as simple as saving your layered file as a PDF and telling it to preserve the layer structure. Sept 26, 2015 18:32:31 GMT -9
bravesirkevin: Acrobat is not designed for authoring PDFs as it is not a design program. The main purpose of that software is really for tinkering with and optimising PDFs. In the Adobe suite of applications, you'd create your PDFs with Illustrator or InDesign. Sept 26, 2015 18:31:15 GMT -9
mproteau: I don't own any Adobe tools that can create PDFs, so I don't know. Sorry. Sept 26, 2015 3:46:03 GMT -9
Cardstock Dane: No, I meant Acrobat, not Photoshop. I'm talking of the creation of the layered PDF itself, not the photo editing work. ;) Sept 25, 2015 14:15:30 GMT -9
