I've been looking for some interior objects that were a bit fancier than the typical quick-build chairs, tables, and staircases. I guess I'm just fiddly that way. I hadn't seen these in any photos so far, so I might have found something most of you don't know about...
You can pick these items up as Propz: Dungeon Features from the usual places... [Who keeps removing my links?]
Here's my photobucket of the items I built is at photobucket.com/propz
Here are a few shots:
Lovely spiral staircase, with little openings for figure stands! That ches opens and comes with loot too! Also - Surprise! I got my new Paizo figures today too!
I love this staircase with landing.... All of the paper is backed with texture, so looking "under" the stairs looks great too.
The stone staircase is climbable without any shim. There is another opening chest. This is the only thing I built wasn't as totally excellent as the rest... The bright-yellow-for-brass didn't work for me.
You've probably noticed the nice tables and chairs on the edges of these photos...
They all have legs, and underside textures. With a cutter, these are totally worth the effort. If you build these, don't skip the "optional" under-texture piece - instead insert it before gluing the legs to the tabletop - it makes a great alignment guide to get the legs in the right place.
I made cut files for all of these, which I will share as part of my next post in this thread [hopefully after the DW goes to bed...]
Each cut file took 30-60 minutes, and page of build was about an hour, so those items (plus 3 more tables, 4 more benches, and 6 more chairs) represent about 7 hours for cutfiles, 10 hours for builds.
Worth every minute!
