 Printing error?
« Thread Started on May 17, 2012, 11:07am »

Hello,

I just started making paper minis. So far it went pretty well. I found some sets in this forum which I really like and started building them.
After finishing a few minis I noticed that my printouts are about 35 mm high - from feet to head. I thought this should be 30 mm models. Have I done something wrong when printing? I printed the PDFs with "no scaling" activated and used A4 sheets.

This question has come up from time to time (here, here, or here).

The quick answer is the size can depend. I like to scale One Monk stuff to 90% to fit better with the Sanity Studios stuff.

As Labrat says, each designer adapts their scale a little differently. In theory the 30mm is from bottom of the feet to the eyeline, but with bent legs etc. there is a lot of artistic license.
