I was printing out the Terra-Force Auxiliaries and didn't realize that I had set the Acrobat print dialogue to print 2 pages per sheet, and ended up with very small auxiliary troops. I measured them though and lo and behold! They were 'True 25mm' scale. The printouts are a little grainy as I was using cardstock instead of my glorious matte paper.

oooh Neat, Now you have to explain how to get 25mm scale Vs the normal 30mm.
Someone should do a guide to make different Sizes so you can use it whatever the size mat or scale needed.

For the (accidental) 25mm version I had checked in the Adobe print dialog -Print multiple pages per sheet- and I had selected 2 pages per sheet. So there was only a slight reduction in scale. For 15mm versions I select 4 pages per sheet as that gives you the figures at 50% size and look Heroically Good in 15mm scale. But that kind of wastes paper...so what I've been doing for my 15mm scale and smaller figures is to open the pdf in (image editing program of choice) and adjusting the dpi, changing the image size and then duplicating the reduced image onto a paper-sized canvas so I can get more figures printed out at once. I actually have a tutorial for making 6mm Skelebots here; paperworlds.papermakeit.com/index.php?topic=554.0Here's what a page of 15mm TF-Aux troops looks like;

I tried resizing the TF Aux set and when I had a figure scaled down enough so the width of the limbs matched my 30mm vinyl figures, I ended up with a standing TF Aux which was about 4'5" scale height tall???

I actually did some 15mm figures by shrinking them down to 50%. They actually turn out very nicely! Probably best to leave a bit of a white border on them, but they do look nice and detailed still.

Squirmy dad, the links seems to be dead!

That's because they're links to the old Paperworlds site, which has now been superceded by PaperMakeIt, and the now-sparse tutorials section doesn't seem to include Eric's resizing jobbie. Is there an archive thing for old forum posts that I can't find, or is it lost, now?
Ah, "That's what she said". I had a mate in college (about ten years ago) who was an absolute master at that. It's not as easy as you'd think...

I've printed the entire line of TerraForce Military, Hybrids and Zeroids at 15mm for use with GunCrawl and I thought they looked really great. The only thing I did different was print on 28-45lb paper instead of 110lb cardstock, simply for cutting ease. The models at this size are comparatively as stiff when glued as the 110lb cardstock. Here is a link to (some of the models) that I made (apologies if this is redundant). It is a slide show showing a game in progress of GunCrawl, but all the models are 15mm scale. ~F Office Rules!

But only the UK version (on that same note - Life on Mars British totally rocks over the US version) After doing your figs in 15mm do you think you might go to 20mm for visual grab on the figures and keep the 15mm terrain? Would this work? I am thinking of going down this path with Zombies and Mayhem. Hitting the figures in to 20mm then making up the terrain at 15mm. This way the minis would "pop" a tad more on such a scale. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood

Can't stand the Office. Ricky Gervais annoys me far too much.
The figs look great at that scale; frankly I don't think they need blowing up to 20mm, but it could be interesting to do a couple to see how they work...
