So squirmydad with his mass of elves got me thinking that I should post some pics of my Skeletons. I am trying the flat-basing style and hope to eventually have those bases look like einarolafson's. I've bought the static grass but I just haven't gotten around to doing it. My wife helped me set all these figures out and she said, "You know, we have a word for you." I replied, "Obsessed." And she said, "No, crazy. I guess it's a good thing I love you." Awww... sweet I know . Anyway, here's the pictures:

That's making my cutting hand hurt just looking at it. JIM
-Oh, and if you ever used matte photo paper for the figures, you'll notice that the blacks are really black ,but that just might be the flash graying out the figs.

Oooh! I see a throwdown! ;D Time to get out my skeleton horde and take some pics. You've definitely got me beat on undead archers though.

Thats a lot of undead paper minis. Must have taken a looong time to cut and glue. Both you and your wife are right - you must be both crazy and obsessed /Cobra

It took quite a while even with an automatic cutter (there's no way I could have done all that without my CraftROBO). Yeah, I used standard 110lb cardstock instead of photo matte paper. I have a few sheets so I will have to start playing around with it. It's kinda hard to tell with those other pics but these models are only 1/2 the size (15mm). Those bases for the archers and swords are standard 20mm square Litko bases. I made these to try out GW's Warmaster game. I know it's not quite the right size since Warmaster is only 10mm but I wanted to be able to use these figures for other tabletop games. The crazy thing is, this is only 1/2 a standard army for Warmaster (actually less since I don't have the characters or a bone giant done yet). I'll have to post the opposing Elven force sometime soon. Nik

Someday we'll all die of arthritis and carpel tunnel. The automated cutters just delay the inevitable.
