Very cool, I like the pose on the Not Kirk figure. Your going to get hit with tons of requests for designs like this. JIM

Where's the obligatory officer in a red shirt who we've never seen before?
Have fun! Steve

Awesome figures ;D Are we going to get some Klingons with stripey shirts and pointy beards? I never really took to the knobbly heads - it's my age I suppose

I loved the scene from the DS9 episode revisiting The Trouble with Tribbles where, after somebody asked Worf how come the Klingons didn't have the boney foreheads back then, Worf replied, "We don't like to talk about that."
Have fun! Steve

These are absolutely fantastic! They have so much character.
This is what makes me think that I shouldn't bother remaking the mini-maker. Maybe I should just do a boatload of minis in various costumes, skin colours, hairstyles and poses. See the problem with the mini maker is that, the poses have to be quite neutral in order for it to work. Because of that, the finished minis lack any kind of character and look a little insipid.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to more of these, Okum. Keep it up.

Wow, thanks Crow, that means a lot! One thing I'm a little concerned about is how small the figures seem next to some One Monk figures, but I guess maybe they are less chunky and stylized (proportionally) which is fine. I still admire Jim's style, but never really considered mimicking it (scale-wise). The figures fit in with my other miniatures though, which is great. I think I'll keep the Star Trek Minis scale consistent and maybe experiment a bit on some of the other lines. I'd eventually like to market a few lines, but I'm going to get used to making them first. I really like your Dr. Who minis Crow. I really want to build that tardis, just for fun. I might even run a Dr. Who or Torchwood adventure or two. I think I'd run it in the Jon Pertwee or Tom Baker era, but I love the new production values. D.

Have fun! Steve In the new series "Enterprise" there is an episode which explains the lack of boney forehead more in detail. In this episode the Klingons had a deadly genetic plague and were healed by Dr. Flox the ship doctor of Enterprise. All survivors of the plague had after waking up a "ugly" mark from then on (and I guess also their children) - no boney forehead anymore.

Hey all, just having some laptop battery issues that are slowing me down. I should have the Klingons up for the weekend and then next week I'll finish the second away team set. After that there are Romulans, Classic Trek Monsters and a Bridge Crew set I want to create. After that, it's just dependant on what I need for my campaign.

Man! I'm drooling just thinking about it. The first set are currently forming an away team on top of the dev-kit TV on my office desk.
I'm running a Savage Worlds Trek game soon set in the TOS period. These'll be absolutely ideal!
Crow
PS - I notice they're about 33mm tall. Is that intentional or did I print them wrong. I actually really like them this size. I've considered doing 40mm D&D minis before now. Because D&D4 uses 'squares' it doesn't really matter what scale the minis are.

Scarecrow would that be using the rules we hammered out a bit ago on the SW boards? No, it's a combination of Renny's, The one on the SW Wiki and Red Alert with my own alterations, but if there's another Savage Worlds version out there, then by all means, post a link. Crow
