I just noticed that one of the orcs at the top has a guitar! Hilarious! Rock On Wild Orc Warband!

He's backed up by the war triangle. I've got some goblins in the works who do a mean bagpipe solo

Loads more to come, just not ready in time for submission. Should have a fully fleshed out wild orc army ready in a week or so Cavalry, heroes, shamen etc......

What is the grass, and how do you get it onto the top of these? I think it looks great.

It's static grass matting..... used for model railways. I just spray glue it on the back and stick it to whatever I need it on... for the hills I just replaced the printed top with grass mat. The bases are just grass mat stuck to thick card then cut using a 1cm hole punch. The figures stick to it instantly as the grass absorbs all of the moisture from the glue. NExt addition to the warband: the warlord. Too late for the competition, but the project continues

That's awesome, a fantasic idea and you need to do a photo or video tutorial of it.

Great. They have some astonishingly 3D-depth to them. Maybe it's some kind of digital filter ? Marvellous for this scale.

The printed and cut ones were made before I discovered the filter I'm using now, so the new ones 'pop out' a lot more.
