So I got around to taking a a few pictures of the Elf army I am building that will combat the Haunted/Undead army I started. As I mentioned in that other post, these models are 15mm scale and I still need to finish the bases. Sorry thste pics aren't that great but that's what I get from the lighting in the basement.

They look great. When basing them, have you tried just cutting straight across the base tab rather than folding out the tabs? I haven't found a model that needed the extra support yet. I've also started basing them properly after seeing your other examples.... textured sand etc.. It really adds a level to the figs.

Nice look army, should give those pesky undead a run for their money. As a side note I've been finding gluing the mini's down tabless actually makes them more stable, no cardboard to bend. What no elven dragon rider

I just used needle-nose pliers to bend out the tabs but still keep the legs straight (it would have been impossible on the skeleton's scrawny legs). I am using white elmers glue to stick them down and actually have a heck of a time getting them to stay. I've had one fall off already even with the whole tab. I think I would need some different glue if I was to cut off the tab. What no elven dragon rider Yeah, I really am going to print one of those out. I promise!

I use 'tacky PVA' it's what crafters use to make decoupage..... works really well, instant grip. Chemically identical to elmers as 'white glue' is PVA, just with a much lower water content. Dries quicker too
