I agree I really like the name Raptor also. The acronym fits really well too! (Might have to put that on the parts page to remember it tho, Lol.)

I love the name... that was the first thing I though of when I saw it!
As far as the price goes, I am with Jose on this... that is WAY to low for what you are getting!
Based on Finger and Toe's prices (which are pretty good to guage this on, at least in my opinion), He would charge $2-$3 (basing this on some of his sets like the Hover Infantry and things).
I would say that you shouldn't let them go for less than $2.50... after all, you are offering 12 color schemes (including the "blank"). That is a GREAT selling point!
SLICK sells his NCC Power Armor for (I think) about $2.95. It is offered in two colors, and the "blank" version. It is a FUN model to make, and features a large number of parts as fold-overs.
I think you should reconsider bumping up the price to match the quality of work you are offering!
As far as the Spider 'Mech, or ARACHNOID (Try coming up with an acronym for THAT!), I agree that the legs will cause you problems in the long run.
I built TOPO's Cirarra (CICADA) and the legs held for a long time, then just kind of collapsed. Maybe you could try a counter-support (+) shape. Cut a slot in the top and leg portions, and feed a second piece through as added support. It could make it more durable, and you could even make it look like hydraulics which will add to the "could it really work in real life" factor, and help it to be stronger.
Either way, I am VERY excited to see when you have these on the market. I just installed BRAND NEW ink cartridges today, and I want to be able to have these be among the first things I build!

As for the legs, I will either sandwich a piece of wire in there or make it four layers thick with blank card in the middle. Less likelihood of the legs giving out. I also did that with the Chichara wings to avoid drooping over time.
Kiladecus, did you get Topo's Christmas version of the Chicharra? It has helicopter skids instead of the 'legs'. If you email him and ask nice, he might send you the link.

I DID see that a while ago, VK. Thanks for the heads up! I use my clear bases (read as: plastic cups with magnets on the bottoms) on my flying units, and I simply removed the legs. On my version, the legs are retractable, and pull up into the body!
I use it as a gunship, and not a transport, so the legs aren't needed in gameplay. I only worry about landing gear on vehicles that actually land during play (like transports and dropships). If this one lands, it will have flame opn it!
(See my ERA OF WAR posts if you don't know what I am talking about).

So this should be released later tonight. The final price will be $2.00 a piece (many people have told me it is under-priced, but I still want it to be affordable for all). Sorry for the price bump (I should learn not to announce pricing until I am sure, or start high, it is much easier to take a discount than an increase).
I wasn't sure if I was going to make it (we've gotten 2 feet of snow in the last 24 hours, which makes my job way more difficult).
As for the crawler legs, thanks for the heads up. I am noticing even now with my test build that the legs are getting wonky, and I have had the same issue with the chiccarra (I have 6 or so of them for my Dune campaign and I have had varying degrees of landing gear failure).
My current plan is to make the legs have a "T" and an "I" shaped cross section. It will make the build more complex, but also significantly more durable.

I have a feeling that more complex might lower the number of people willing to purchase. If there is space on the page, I'd go for an extra blank set of legs or two to sandwich between the printed ones. That should give plenty of strength and still be a simple build.
