I don't know mesper , if you like the "generic" idea of "Ranger" then I think you should have some "generic" looking figures in the set. Wearing a wolf pelt as a hat is cool but also sort of specific. But do what you like. Hmm... I'd like to have "forest" in tittle - cause almost all the figures have fragments of forest undergrowth, some bushes, etc. - then a leather-clad archer, hiding in bushes outside the woods would look strange, wouldn't it? So maybe keep it simple and descriptively - " Forest Scouts"

It takes longer than expected, but there is progress...

OK, so here's my next idea: another one Easy Scenery set with generic RPG props. Working topic/theme is "CROSSROADS" (or maybe JUNCTION would be better?) - and the set will include all sorts of information/direction/warning thingies. I hope that attached simply collage shows the idea (there will also be obelisks of stone, some rocks with carvings and signs etc...) Questions: 1. What will be the best, or rather most relevant(!) title for the set? The first/leading idea: "Crossroads: Landmarks, Milestones, Signposts"But is it sufficiently clear regarding the theme/topic and content of such set? 2. What are the names/word most often used in RPG/tabletop games: - signpost / road direction / directional board / turning points - bulletin board / notice board / signboard / announcement board / notification board - warning sign / no entry / forbidden area/zone I will be grateful for ideas and hints

I think "Crossroads: Landmarks, Milestones, Signposts" nails it.
I personally would use "signpost," "bulletin board," and "warning sign" most often.

Idea for a new set - actually friends who play RPGs submitted a request:) You know - several characters from different historical eras with royal look and charisma, crowns, rich clothing and equipment etc. - so rather simple and generic set of minis, right? Kings & Warlords
or Warrior Kings
(Personally prefer the latter) But in the work process I thought that these few figures can be modified/forged, and the new ones could be added so maybe something bigger and universal will come out of it? So at some point I started adding fairy tale / fantasy elements to existing minis - you know like golden wings and bright armor for the good King and dark "bat-like" for the dark-side one... Anyway - the idea started to blur a bit - if there is a king on a white stallion, there should also be his "counterpart" on a dark stallion (or some hellish beast?) etc. Or maybe it's better to make two "dedicated" sets - the "good side" and the other the "dark" one?

I think this is a good idea. I would suggest adding a Queen to go with each of the Kings. I actually think a set of "good king and queen" with counterpart "evil king and queen" in two or three "styles" (ie medieval, renaissance, fantasy) might make a good set. Or maybe that would be too many figures in one set?
Just last night I had to use an advertising picture of a Halloween costume from the net as my Lady Macbeth figure.

Battlefield Props 2 - ()I'm planning another set from the Battlefield Props mini-series (the previous one was Battlefield Props 1 - Field Fortifications). In the new one, I wanna to include more "mechanical and material" (so any corpses or wounded soldiers, POWs etc.) elements of the battlefield, such as various wrecks, damaged vehicles, artillery and other equipment, but also destroyed buildings/bunkers, abandoned ammunition dumps/stash/hords and trenches etc. But how to name such a set? Maybe: Battlefield Props 2 - Battle Remains or Battlefield Leftovers or Abandoned Battlefield, or After Battle >>> Really I don't know... any hint, please?

This time the tittle is rather obvious and self-explanatory: Normans. But as before, I have doubts about the " Infantry" suffix. It brings to my mind modern military and the concept of army as we understand and use it today - kinda like from the 17-18th century onwards. But then "foot soldiers" sounds even more wrong/strange, so will probably stay with "infantry" - at least shorter, just one word... Anyway - work in progress, I'm trying to make it by Christmas (no promises though - it's a relaxing and even lazy time now)

I get what you are saying but I think, in the context of wargame miniatures, "infantry" is fine. And they look great.

"Norman Foot" would also be appropriate, but sounds even weirder. Norman Infantry is perfect.
