Not only did I have a fantastic holiday and celebrate our first wedding anniversary, I got cracking with some ideas for the third Survival Horror set-this time taking a brief break from the zombie apocalypse, concentrating on the Occult Terrors line. Here are some of the sketches I produced whilst away: Resurrection Demon-child demon necromancer Ripper Demons-Resurrection Demon Flesh Constructs Professor Smith-occult investigator Wizard for HireMy idea is that the Occult Investigators can be used as both heroes or villains, depending on the needs of the player. I have been working on a Vampire vs Werewolf set under the Occult Terrors banner too: Vampire SireVampire PackWerewolf LeaderWolf packApologies for the monster post-hope you like the ideas!

Good stuff man. Love the Dresden'esque Wizard for hirer. Toss in a couple of Fay beings and some demons and you'll have a set that covers most of 1st 4 books of the series.
:thumbs way up:

ps. Congratulations on the 1st year anniversary.

These are coming up such a treat! Love the Dresden, the Werepuppies and the FleshRippers. If you are doing carnage monsters maybe in the next freebie you could do some carnage markers - Flesh mounds with ribs ripped open sticking up to the night's sky. It seems with your improving style that marriage is working for you - you are really getting into the Horror! Lord Abaddon of Wormwood

Too cool! Love it. That vampire labeled 2 should be vaulting over a headstone or something like that. Excellent work, sir!

hey all! Thanks for the positive response folks! It may sound weird, but zombies are kinda my comfort zone these days so it's nice to know the other stuff is working too!
I will see what I can do re the suggested Demons abaddon-I like the idea, and I was hoping to get a Hoard entry in this month...
And kane-that is just what bride of darkmook was thinking! In the unpublished roughs I had him vaulting a stone wall and she pointed out that a headstone would be the more obvious choice. Great minds think alike!

Really nice stuff!!
I love the dynamic posing that still fits onemonk style. I think I still draw the models too much like "normal" drawings.

Can I vote for the werewolfs too? I love them, and there is a shortage of werewolfs in paper minis...

Hi Darkmook
I'm so glad you are creating werewolves, I've been looking for some Werewolf paper miniatures for ages. I'd just assumed that White Wolf would have made some to go with their Werewolf RPG's. There really is a severe lack of Werewolves. Please, please do lots of them they already look really good just from the illustrations.
I've been playing around with some old rules when I get the time and there really is very little about, I'm also sorry to say I have very little artistic talent so I would not get to anywhere near the quality of the figures you all create.
First time posting on this forum and I must say I'm certainly no longer going to spend out on metal figures. Paper minis are the way to go. I had planned on purchasing from Onemonk but going through bankruptcy at the moment so wasn't able to. But I shall certainly be making a donation to Onemonk when I have some cash.
There are some really beautiful figures up on this forum thanks to you all.
Cheers
Kev

Hey dragonkev, welcome aboard! Glad you like the sketches-I am planning on getting the sets done as time allows, especially as there is an rpg in the works for a certain Chicago-based urban wizard... All the Onemonk minis are free at the moment, and I have some free sets available on RPG Now: url]http://www.rpgnow.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=darkmook&quicksearch=1&search_filter=&filters=&search_free=&search_in_description=1&search_in_author=1&search_in_artist=1[/url] Check 'em out and give them a go! Cheers!

Sweet. Thanks, Adam! I'll have to check out the sampler just to see how smooth the mechanics are.
The content has to be good. ;D

Thank goodness it's not OGL. Which means the mechanics stand a good chance of actually fitting the setting.
