lookin sharp... what software do you use to create the models? What I used, and what I'm in the process of restoring to my machines, is Vectorworks 12.5 for the cad work on my Mac, export as dxf, open in Metasequoia on my old PC to get the file ready for Pepakura, also on my old PC, unfold and layout, export as dxf again, open in RoboMaster on my PC, make sure all of the parts fit in the cutting area, save as GSD for the Robocutter, export as a pdf, open the pdf in Photoshop on my Mac, save completed Photoshop layers as PNG files, send to InDesign and build a layered pdf. That last step is something I';ve just recently added to the process but it does make it easier to create different looks and one GSD file handles the different looks from the layered pdf. It might sound complicated and tedious, but the only really time consuming parts are the Photoshop work and the Pepakura layout. My goal is to have some finished-y looking models to photograph next week.
