Hawk-man is done. I made the wings separate. After I am done with the set I'll edit them and post them so folks can play around with them and mod their own figures. Also, I'll probably post the Hawkman, too so those inclined to do 3D versions can have their fun.

Very cool, This set is really shaping up nicely! All the Egyptian fans should have a field day with these figures. Maybe time to update the desert base style to something a bit more sand looking... JIM

I haven't really thought about bases, yet. Maybe I can work out a nice sand texture. If I do get something nice looking, I'll send it your way.
This set is probably only going to use the 25mm and 50mm bases.

I know I struggled to find a good sand texture for use with the bases. If you can whip up something, I'd be willing to make up the new base styles, although I do have a backlog of base textures, about 12 of them!
Don't worry about that so much. Just keep kicking out these figure designs, they look great! JIM

That would be cool too

Was there a pun in there somewhere...? Wings from heaven...? Groan, too much coffee.

Man I somehow missed your thread updates!
These are looking stonking good mate! The theme choice, posing & color make them really unique visually.
I bet you could do a line that would be a really compelling alternative to metal for the Wargods of Egytpus players.
Doesn't Mel have a decent sand texture for his Tile set?
~F
How about doing a line of futuristic Anime style figures and bots so we can all play Infinity without having to add another genre of minis to the (already) long list that need painted!

Thanks, gang. Some egyptian scenery would be cool, especially if he has a sarcophagus or two. Thanks, Afet, for bringing that up.
Floyd, I have totally missed the Wargods of Egytpus line. Those are cool. Where were they when I was doing research? Oh well, that makes good fodder for a future expansion on this set. ;D
I have not been posting any updates for a while because I have been inking the last in this range. I've decided to do them all at once instead of bouncing back and forth. I have a couple more living people to do and I'll begin coloring.

Here are the latest two. * I have seven more to color. Last weekend I finished all the inking scanning and layout. From here on in it should be gravy. What's more, I think I am finally hitting a windfall at work. Let the countdown begin! * Neither one of these is to scale with one another. I scaled the Sphinx down a lot. The bases are the same if that gives you an indication.

The scarab rider is going to be my favorite out of the whole set, I just know it. Let's see if you can surprise me , and make me correct myself

Very nice work. Only criticism I would have is the bandages are a bit dark and the wings could be a bit brighter colored.

Thanks, Kane. I'll make sure to tweak those a bit when I am putting together the finals. I usually brighten everything a couple of shades before they make it to the PDF.

Yeah, I think this set will have a couple of pages of characters. I have not tried to lay them all out, yet. I think the grand total is something like 16.
Bob, I am shooting for 2 weeks or so.
Parduz, that looks like a fantasy Risk game. Too bad the game instructions are in French. I wonder how it compares to Lord of the Rings Risk.

Not really (or at least, not like the classic Risk): it is more an old-style, euro wargame. Hex map, different powered counters, etc. At boardgamegeek there's some shot and italian and spanish rules... if you can read them.

LOL, that is a great Scarab Swarm, Jabbro! I wonder if you might be able to give us a flat of the swarm on a 40mm base (or maybe just a 50mm square so we can cut to size)? We could use the flat to represent the Scarabs moving and then the standee when they hit with an attack. Just a thought onemonkeybeau

Hrmm. I had not thought of a tile monster, so to speak, Beau. I'll have to play with that idea. It won't be part of this set, but maybe I can do it as a filler.
