Hey folks! Ok, I was planning on putting out the Vamp/Werewolf set next, but kinda got waylaid by these guys. I had been thinking about this set since I put out the first one, and really wanted to get it finished. The Vamp/Werewolf set is still in the pipeline, so worry not fang fans! Set 3-Prison Break is kind of an 'army builder' for zombie fans, and consists of 6x Zombie Inmates, 1x Inmate Zero, the source of the prison contagion, Donnie, inmate survivor ('Clean', 'Bloody' and 'Zombie'), and Officer Rhames('Clean', 'Bloody' and 'Zombie'), sole SHPD survivor of the prison outbreak. No boss in this one, but I thought that the number of minis makes up for it! DonnieOfficer Rhames (Bloody)Inmate ZeroZombie InmatesI have the scaling, layout and test building to do, but these bad boys should be available by Halloween! Apologies for the monster post, too!

Love the pumpkin orange clothing.
You should put together a Zombie only sheet for mass cutting out. Ask Jim to give you a Robo template to work with so it can be set up easier for a cutting path to be made.
Give me a PM later if your interested in more info on Robo Cutters and layouts if you don't have the goss.

You are really improving in coloring job! I really like how you use the gradients, and the shades.

I love your minis! These guys ROCK! Do you think you could do a couple in the old-fashioned black and white stripes? BTW- Did I mention how much I love your minis?

Hey thanks all! Glad you like them-I think that with the more minis I produce, the more comfortable I am becoming with my way of working. Now if I could just get a little quicker... I was thinking of putting together an army builder set with a bunch of zombies as you suggested abaddon, and am playing around with another 'foot soldier' generic body at the moment to mix in with the old one. I will have a chat re: robo cutter stuff once I have some things together! I was also thinking of some 'objective' characters-scientist, immune child etc, but they may take a while to get out as the list of figs awaiting production is getting longer and longer... And agelessone-if I get the chance i will see if I can get some modded zombies finished up for the Hoard this month!

Whoops! I just posted an inmate on the hoard thinking it was an original idea ...i was wrong. These look fantastic! Much better than what I was trying for. Looking forward to seeing these finished up.

Very cool set! I need to get caught up. Been building (or trying to) paper scenery and have not much to show for it. Should just go back to minis for awhile. Getting frustrated with large pieces of foamcore not working out very well.

Looking good. A prison break theme would work for more than just zombies. I can think of at least three other settings off hand. I like the new characters. They look very nice.

Adam, I really like the look of your figures, but I'm hoping you can add more breathers to the compostion of your future releases.
The zombies look great, and are genric enough that you can use mulitple copies, but the humans are so wonderfully detailed that they don't look right in bulk.
There are about 2 breathers in each of your releases, not enough for a variety of player types. Perhaps an all breathing release of Hunters of the supernatural ? Four guys and four women armed for zombie smashing, to tip the scales slighty back in the survivors direction ?
In any case, keep up the great work.

Hey Adam-glad you like the sets! I have been producing the sets with one or two survivors and more zombies (and boss) to reflect the massing ranks of the undead, with the humans very much in the minority. They are kinda themed to suit the different types of survivor (civilian, military etc) with the next few sets continuing along these lines, but I am planning on some army builder sets in the future. I will certainly be looking at survivor sets too-4/5 figs with the bloody and zombie variants as previously! I also plan on getting the Occult Terrors sets up and running too-hopefully sooner rather than later!-that will fill out the survivor ranks a little too. Set three is nearly finished, so stay tuned!

This set is looking great! Sorry to be late with a suggestion, but how about an electrified zombie still attached to parts of the electric chair? Maybe his electrocution was the catalyst for the prison zombie outbreak? Just a thought...

Sorry to disappoint chaps, but the set is already laid out and locked down. If we have a November Hoard, however...
