Hiyo, The end of the world is near, so the cult recruiters say, and membership is at an all time high. I'll add more cult members as I finish them. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Didn't realise I could edit the posts indefinitely when I started this. Now I do Im a HUGE fan of the Evil Cultitsts set. Soo much infact that I needed more of them. I'll post additional figures as I work on them in new posts, and occasionally I'll try to collect them all up in this post. Don't be afraid to scroll down, or you may miss few

I like the hands! That effect would look good on some supervillains too.

Thanks,
I borrowed the basic idea, and outline, from the HEROIC FANTASY RACES 01 sampler.
I tried just resizing it, but the hands blurred out, so I basically had to redraw them. I mirrored the first one and swapped out the top, for the right hand. For the back of the hands I thought it would be cooler for a pure energy glow, instead of the back of the hands. I drew in the black outline by hand. I imagine there is some more technical way of doing it, that I'm unaware of, but drawing it was a simple solution.
I also added a second talismon to the front of her dress and removed one of the metal rings from her hip.
For now I'll focus on doing cult women. It was the one thing the orignal set was light on. I'm working on a different basic body, for more vairety, but I want to keep a unified feel.

You can never have too many cultists I say. You could also make some for Pulp action by giving them pistols and MP40's (?(that German WW2 sub-machine gun that gets over-used in films)).

Looking good overall, A.J. I like the subtle changes and the added poses. Any chance you are planning to redo some of the faces for added variety?

Yes to both.
I will be making some with guns, and yes I am working on different heads/faces.
Everything soo far has pretty much been stuff I can do quickly.
This is the first time I've ever tried making paper miniatures. I'm still working on the learning curve.

This is a preview of the next one I'm working on. It's more ambitious than the other cultitsts so far.

I see a bit of Patrick's work in there. I recognize the line and dot inking technique. Nice amalgam.

You are correct sir!!
I mentioned that I'm toying with his stuff in the gunslinger thread. One of the Pulp figure sheet has a nice assortment of firearms.
They are proportioned like WH40K figures with oversized heads and hands, and a bit cartoony, but they make a nice supply of spare parts.
