It's just that simple. What are you guys playing now?
As it's tradition, the one o asks gets to answer first.
I'm currently playing at one campaign and gming (yes, i'm crazy) 3 campaigns.
The one i'm playing is a D&D 3e (my group never converted to 3,5 or 4e) in the Silver Marches region of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. There i play the elven mage Aramil. That campaign is interesting that we have not really created characters, we decided which of our characters were the best of all time and decided to make a all-star campaign with them. You can get the minis for my party characters on drywtheharper's subforum
I'm DMing a cyberpunk Savage Worlds campaign set in Land of Tomorrow, my own setting that features Brazil in 50 years in the future.
Also i'm DMing Mutantes & Masterminds in the Marvel Ultimate Universe.
And i'm going to begin dming a D&D campaign, but didn't defined much about how it's gonna be.
I don't play wargames because i never found people who play them in my city.

Hi. Dryw the Harper here.
I've been running a longstanding Savage World Fantasy based campaign of my own creation. It has already spanned over three hundred years and the characters have journied everywhere from the frozen north of Nordholm to the blistering deserts of the Osari Lands. The various cardboard minis I post were all originally created for my campaign at one point or another (except the player characters for Tabris' game which were designed for his game). I will eventually post the Nordholm figures and the Osari desert figures as I get more organized.

Currently trying to put together a batch of OneMonk miniatures for use in some wargame rules I've picked up or will soon pick up. Will probably be playing them solo since I don't have anyone to play with. Will try out SoBH, HOtT and maybe Fistfull of Miniatures if I decide to buy it. Once I get comfortable with the process I might start drawing up my own figures, though I'm not much of an artist...

Tonight, my nephew and I started figuring out how to play "Dirt Track Saturday Night." I drew the track on the white side of a 3'x4' presentation board made of corrugated cardboard, and we used some Hot Wheels and Matchbox 1/64th cars for the racers. We also picked up some service vehicles... ambulance, tow truck, etc. I got an ice cream truck that I'm gonna repaint and label "BEER," "Polish Sausage" and "Elephant Ears." We're already modifying the rules to make the game play the way we want it to do.
I'm bashing Fat Dragon's Hexmaster stuff to make a 2.5-D hex-grid based dungeon I originally designed as a board game about 30 years ago. The build is pretty labor intensive, since I have to convert every part by hand (my computer graphics skills are woeful). When it's done, I may get the Heroscape D&D set to run the figures through a "real" dungeon using the Heroscape rules.
And then there's the constant puttering.
Have fun! Steve

I got an ice cream truck that I'm gonna repaint and label "BEER," "Polish Sausage" and "Elephant Ears." What are Elephant Ears? Is it like fried dough? Here in Pennsylvania we have funnel cakes, which are a thin batter drizzled into a deep fryer (with a funnel) to make a fried dough that looks like a 3D scribble. Then they're topped with powdered sugar. Sorry for hijacking the thread. Now I'm hungry! I've been noodling with the 15mm Mecha Battle rules that Dagger wrote and I'm making the models for. I'm also playing through the rules for the racing game that I'm working on and reading the CAV rules that i just picked up. I'm not sure that that counts as "playing", but I think it still counts as "gaming". Any gamers in the Lancaster County area? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I am playing atm a Warhammer FRPG with Savage Worlds rules. In the pipeline there is a continuation of my Katapesh AP Legacy of Fire (Pathfinder) which I play also with Savage worlds (call me a SW fan BTW: many thanks for drywtheharper whose arabian folk paper minis will be great for my Katapesh game. In the far future (mid next year) I am planning to convert several 4th edition modules from WotC into Savage Worlds.

@waffle - you've got it right. 'Elephant Ear' is Midwestern for what we call a 'Funnel Cake' here on the east coast. My father's from Iowa, and he used to get weird looks at the carnivals here in Maryland when he'd as for an elephant ear.

In Washington state, we have both funnel cake (squigly fried cake) AND elephant ears (giant fried bread with cinnamon and sugar I believe).

Up here in Maine you won't see much of either elephant ears or funnel cakes outside of the agricultural fairs. Even then you're more likely to encounter "fried dough". Please pass the Zantac!
As for gaming, my regular Thursday night group has been playing mostly board games like Betrayal at House on the Hill, Tales of the Arabian Nights, and stuff like that. Hopefully this January I'll be starting up a Savage Worlds Slipstream campaign.

We bounce around a bit. Wargames: 40K Board Games: Mage Knight Dungeons RPG's: GURPS using paper terrain and paper miniatures! - Currently doing GURPS Dungeon Fantasy for when we just want an old fashion hack and slash.
- Then my own campaign of GURPS Fantasy where there are no horses only Dinosaurs (need 2.5D Dinosaurs with riders HINT HINT).
- Then we are doing Fallout London. A continuation of the post apocalypse game set in London and the surrounding area.

I'm loving Warmachine at the moment. I collect Skorne but will probably draw my own versions of a second faction and rename them (but not try to sell them.)

Mostly Champions/Hero System for the past 25+ years. I have been running some Mutants and Masterminds DC Comics adventures (got to use those heroclix). We have also been enjoying Labyrinth Lord. I have a Goblin centric campaign and a fantasy horror set in 1750 Boston. Wargaming? Well, we've tried out some Fear and Faith, but the group isn't too keen on it. I think it is workable and interesting. We'll see how it goes.
