I recently started playing SBH and SDS and I decided to switch to 15mm on a count of wanting to play HUGE battles in a small amount of space (1500-2000 points). The problem is, I've never played 15mm and I have no idea what I am supposed to do for basing for the SBH rules. Do I base each individual like at the 30mm scale or do I mount multiple units on each base?
I found that I can order 15mm wooden bases from Litkoaero and they also sell skirmish trays but none small enough for 15mm. If anybody can point me in the right direction that would be great. Im a total newbie when it comes to this. Thanks.

Print the bases here at 1/2 scale.
Everything remains the same for 15mm. It's meant as a 1 figure = 1 unit in the skirmish game.

I'm actually going to be using 15mm metals from rebelminis eventually so I still need to solve the problem for not being able to find any skirmish trays small enough for them. As far as the paper minis go, right now I am using Jenny's 15mm Imperial Soldiers in a couple different color schemes to represent seperate factions and I LOVE them, and if I print the 25x50 movement tray at 64% or 65% it comes out as a nice 5x2 tray for the 15mms. So thanks for the minis Jenny (I would love to see more ) And Floyd thanks for helping me with the scaling issue. TheSweetlander

Make you own trays. Foam board works really well.

As far as I can remember you don't need to use movement trays for song of blades and heroes. Likewise the base sizes are not critical to the system, so I would just do whatever you prefer, or whatever is the easiest.
