One of my projects is a sci-fi building with a functional interior. Right now I'm thinking of it as a battlefield structure, a sort of open-backed, squarish bunker (front toward enemy).
It'll have a ground floor and upper level, and window openings to shoot through, and a slightly sloping roof -- similar in style to the Outpost and Observation Tower models that I created earlier. I'm hoping this one will be a bigger hit with SF wargamers than those earlier models, because it'll have a playable interior. It's a simple design that will be easy to print and build multiple times, so you can set up a few of them along your battle lines.
(It's a thin-walled design, rather than thick-walled design I used on the Bunker Deluxe Kit.)
I should be able to include optional overlays for heavy battle damage -- big holes in the walls so you can get a few unique ruined versions out of it. Those will really add to the reprintability. (I'm really happy with the new metal textures I've used for the makeshift bridge accessory. I'd love an excuse to include these with another model, and a sci-fi ruin is all the excuse I need.)
I'm building my paper test now, and should have some photos later today if everything goes together as I expect them to!

Here's my paper test. It may not look like much yet, but I'm sure it'll look more interesting with some textures on it. One of the things I like about it is the roof access, so your troopers have another place to shoot from and be shot at.

Is there going to be options for battlements on the top?
Some kind of cover against incoming fire

Yeah, I think I will include a low wall to go along the edge of the roof.

I'd like to see it in a concrete type texture. Like the sniper wall you did earlier, which was great.

Are you applying the same texture to this as the Bunker (with rivets?) ;D

Yeah, I'm using the same textures as the smaller bunker.

I'm currently back to work on this model, and coming up with some time-saving tricks so that I can create more models in this style later on. I'm hoping to have the main texturing work done sometime today, and spend tomorrow adding in the fun details. That might mean you'll be able to grab this one on Wednesday or Thursday.
I've added a lift-away back door for easy access to the interior, and an optional guard-wall along the top to protect any troopers that might be stationed up there. I had to reconfigure the roof a little bit to make the door work, but I think it's an improvement overall.
I'll get back to the Blackbird Tavern as soon as this one's done. I'll probably find a few hours to work on it over the next couple of days, if I need a little break from this new bunker.

The texturing for this model should be done today. That means it'll probably be in the shop tomorrow.
It matches almost perfectly the little SF-01 bunker, and the two of them should look great together. (You can put the smaller one on top of the larger one, for extra bunkeriness.)

Here's the rear view: You can see that I've done away with the triangular columns along the walls, and instead added a defensive wall along the roof and some optional modules on the main walls.
