Hello, everybody. I am new to this great site, and have enjoyed making paper models for a few months. Before that I used to paint metal and plastic models for a few years. But then the cost rose too much and I have eventually stopped purchasing any new models. One thing I am interested to know is: have any one tried to creat 28mm models in 3d? I have experimented with some pictures on the internet and created some quasi-3d models. By using some simple boxes and tubes to represent the body, head, hands and legs, the look is quite good. Sci-Fi or fantasy? Mel Ebbles did a power suit marine: www.ebblesminiatures.com/shop/2006models.phpFor me, 28 mm figures are just too fiddly in 3d--too much work for too little return. That may be why I'm a fan of Jim's figures.

Just posted the pdf file for the model. Sorry that there is no instruction in the file, but it should be easy to make. With the use of cutting mat and tweezer, the model could be created in 30min to 45min.
