Hey, I've been a long time lurker, but am only posting now. I'm really not much of an artist, but I wanted to try making some Marvel Superheroes. Mind you, I didn't do the art, and there's no back to this figure, but I don't think my players would really mind. I'd like to make the whole range of heroes and maybe use them for a superhero game at some point. Let me know what you think!

There are hundreds of useful images out there that can be adapted to figure use. Granted rear views will not be available, but still, if you need something quick, and you can't beat the variety. JIM

Nice work DiceMonkey !
I was toying with a similar idea for figures that weren't currently available from Heroclix.
If you use the turnaround images from the old Marvel Universe series, you would have kind of bland poses, but you would have both front and back art.

Yeah, I've seen those old marvel ones, and they're so boring! So I decided to do my own with more dramatic poses. If I was any kind of artist, I'd actually get the backs done, but I'm not that talented. Here's three of the core Avengers. I had to add a bit to Captain America's foot in order to provide stability.

I like them! Some suggestions to improve them a bit: Can you draw the red line (the folding line) one pixel wide? She-hulk contour show a thin white line in the middle, can you retouch it? The venom style, while good, is really different from, say, the spiderman style... they won't fit a lot when put side-by-side... i'd try to find images with a mord similar style. Other that this, i plan do build them for the kid

They look really good, nice art choices, but they are out of scale with each other.
Thor should be bigger Wolverine should be shorter, like a full head height shorter Hawheye is too big Venom is too large She-Hulk could be a head height taller
