From the Heroscapers home page, WotC announced that Heroscape is officially Out of Print. I'm not so surprised, but still makes me a bit sad. Luckily, HS have a so much replay value that i may use it for the rest of my life. It will become a "myth" as Space Hulk, and it is more durable

Lately my 11-year old son and I have been playing a lot of the Marvel Heroes version using the hundreds of mod cards available on the Heroscapers forum with my collection of old Heroclix minis. Fun doesn't get old. www.heroscapers.com/community/blog.php?b=1422

Yeah, I think this one will live a long and fruitful afterlife. Their are so many home-brew models that it will just keep getting bigger. Rest in peace Heroscape. Long live Heroscapers!

The game was a fun game, and it was nice for younger and even "older" players, but I would have given it a "B-" overall. The terrain itself... well THAT is another story!! I have bought SEVERAL copies of each set, and I am a big HeroClix player, so the bases are PERFECT, and the terrain is nice to built custom maps (plus there is NO printing involved)! I am sorry to hear that it is dead, BUT... seeing as though I can completely COVER my ping-pong table with the terrain, I don't plan on using anything else!! (Don't believe me... check out my FaceBook page... you will see ALL kinds of the terrain there!)! Just a thought...
