Ok, I have been playing around with what genre I am going to primarily work in. I am planning on, and working on, some stuff along the lines of steam-punk pirates.
Think of Disney's Treasure Planet for starters. That movie was 70% "real" world pirates of the 1800's, and 30% science fiction.
This is what I am looking for, but instead of the silly, cartoony aliens, I am looking for a more realistic humanoid cyborg pirates.
The good thing is, most fantasy sets CAN be included in this... a crew of cyborg Orcs seems NATURAL for this niche'. Undead pirates, YOUBETCHA!
Even stuff from the wild-west can fit into this as well... steam powered stagecoaches or wagons.
I am going to have a human fleet that uses "shiny" equipment that act as "pirate-hunters" called the SYNFED (Syndicate Federation)... [think a mixture of Star Trek, and the Empire from Star Wars].
So, anyone wanting to work on new models, or anyone with a link to some stuff that will work with this, PLEASE shoot it my way!
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer in this venture. If you have more suggestions, please feel free to express those, as well.
Thank you for your attention.
