So we are going to a local con here in the next month and we're wondering if we could take your game and show it off? Sanity Studios will basically be doing a mini version of the paper con idea (just showing off some cardstock models and such). Oh, and I'll also do some judging of some unpublished board games. We do have a booth but we will not be doing any sales. We are trying to get quite a variety of things to show. Let me know if your cool with this.

Yeah... sounds great. If you could include a link to our website or our wargamevault page in there somewhere, that would be cool...

We don't run the con (and therefore have no control over their website) but I will be sure to let anyone who asks where to go to get your great stuff. I'm in the middle of building Mech Attack as we speak:

Here's a few pics of the pre-con games we've done: That is three different games so there's no continuity in the pictures. The last one is the funniest since that Heavy Mech had to roll something like 9 criticals and it just kept having things fall of of it until the very last roll and then it blew up. We were all laughing like crazy even the player who lost his mech. Great game system!

That's awesome! I love it when the critical hits start to cascade like in the bottom photo. It really gets the feeling of multiple explosions going off inside the Mech until it finally gasps it last!
Have fun at SaltCON and let us know how it goes!

Side question what is that green mat made from? It looks heavy duty cloth like and wrinkle resistant...the perfect outdoor grass mat for compact storage and travel.

It's just a green tablecloth from Walmart. It looks nice but it's really a pain to play any miniatures games on since they always catch and move the battlefield (earthquake). Warning: Not recommended for actual play.
