3 Computers later, I've been able to resurrect one of my older PCs that is actually compatible with my scanner. I've been playing the old Marvel Heroes RPG by TSR and started creating and drawing all manner of heroes. Toying with the scanner and GIMP I put this together. I still need to clean them up a bit and rescale the images, but I'll add them to the monthly Horde once I do, along with the Blood Bowl players I have finished.

In one of my GURPS Supers campaigns, one of my friends played a Major Brasil! Maybe I should make a paper mini of him too.

This is my current charecter for a Marvel RPR, Amazing Man ! Amazing Man has the ability to alter his form at will, but I still want to have an iconic version of him. My current favorite is the bottom left. The theme of blue and white seemed a natural paring to me, and it seems to fit well with his Ice Generation powers.

Just small corrections: I removed the white aliasing from the figure border, widened the back border, and put a less caucasian tone of skin in the Major. A Steve-Rogers-Look-Alike wouldn't fit as a representative of Brazil. Hey, I think he can feature in the WWII HOARD! Brazil was there too! Maybe I'll make a "war version" of him with a Smoking Snake somewhere... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Expeditionary_Force#NicknameAttachments:

Loving Major Brazil! Maybe we could do a patriotic hero from each of our respective countries.

Hackbarth: Great Work ! At 1 am I thought it was a good idea but I was falling asleep half way though, and kinda half assed it. Okumarts: Captain Canuck already exists !! We just need to put him into miniature form.

"When snakes smoke" is now commited to memory. That was an interesting and colorful bit of trivia.
Most of the Portuguese around here are of the Azorian variety, but I'm going to ask around and see if anyone is amilar with the experssion.

I live just 20 minutes from the creator of Captain Canuck. Last year I helped award him a Joe Shuster Lifetime Achievement award.

Man, you are productive ! I think, the tall Skull-T Hippie, the Clown Popeye and the Power-Suit Skull in the top row are promising ... . But I say that, because I have no sensibility for Superhero design. Never touched this topic. Robot also looks cool.
Your WWWeird Zombies are in the GIMP pipeline, by the way. Tried the first two some days ago. Fun indeed. I make Zombie noises when I paint the faces.
I have searched for 40ies Nazi-Supervillains on the web, cause Okumarts had the idea, to draw Superheroes for WWWeird representing our home countries ;D. There are some really trashy characters in the archives like "Captain Nazi" (yes), "Baron Gestapo" (yes) or "Valkyrie" (blonde bombshell ?). Well, I doubt this would be a responsible treatment of highly sensible historical data by me (as German).

Thanks Paladin.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what you were able to do with the zombies.
Those are some good ideas for villains..... I'll see what I can do later this weekend.

And I discovered a quick and painless way of giving volume to the shield. That plane shield was giving me a pain to look at. This version is much better. Attachments:

Rescaled the lot, and toyed with Amazing Man to get him more in line with the One Monk style. I know they are light on shading, but if I obsess over them they would never get finished. They work with the 2 foot rule so I'm happy.
