Ha, I knew, those Kreens would make it to the big screen once a time! They look marvellous, right, Reivaj? I told you. I like the high aiming shooter and the arrow holding one. This is a complete horde indeed. And I will build them. Sooner or later I will upload some dungeon scenes with these guys ... . Great looking instant "frottee"-grassy hillterrain too ... . A towel and some books and ... zoom ... another dimension.
Sorry but for a time i can´t do anyting because next saturday i´m moving to other apartament and i´m living in the middle of a valley of wood boxes. But i´ll do more minis. I was working in a comercial (because the change of apartament is leaving my pockets empty) set of catfolk, I hope to finish them
THANK YOU PALADIN!!! ;D HAPPY 2012 FOR YOU TOO!! I'm a little disappeared from the forum and i´m not doing any mini since i moved from apartament (just 2 robots AT286 to Kiladecus). I have a large investment of money in this department and must continue to pay the fees for five more years, because of this i was thinking in make some comercials set to help at least to pay the internet provider, because i was thinking in cut it and them Reivaj will desapear forever from the cyber space .
... Damn, those nasty money problems, you said it, Reivaj. I will run into some serious trouble for myself, if I continue to walk on the thin line, that's for sure ... . Yes, you should try to commercialize your paper minis, they're worth it. With your Vector Technique you could gain some time safe effects if you are doing large sets (like your Kreens) ... . This could pay off. I for myself have a bigger card-driven boardgame in my pipeline, which keeps on sucking time for some months now. I want to continue experimenting with paper miniatures though, but still a bit undecided about the right route to take. I have a complete Ruin Dungeon Tile Set, I want to sell on the obligatory platforms for 1 year now, but I am distracted by other stuff too easily to finish them for printing and demo assemblage, promotion pics etc. Time is running out, for sure ... .
Thanks . Now that i´m in my free days i´ll try to do something but i don´t want to go 100% comercial, i want to continue doing minis to all people that give their excelent work in this great forum. Mesper, welcome to the forum!! You are doing an EXCELENT work with your elves!! thanks
cowboyleland: Now I have seen it. It doesn't advance our hobby, but anyone with half a brain who wanted 2nd rate figures could easily figure this out for themselves so I guess he isn't doing any harm.

berneart76: well, this is fun, (not) transferring all my papercrafting sets into the cloud. The stuff I got from DriveTrhruRPG was simple with their library desktop app,but my other stuff, sometimes with multiple duplicate copies is entertaining.

berneart76: Vermin King I usually use a mix of drybrush/watercolor/photocopy and occasionally posterizing at different levels of opacity.

berneart76: Vermin King, that's similar to the enhancing that I do on my texturing. I've found that sometimes I need to scale up or scale down the image (usually by 50 or 25 percent down or 200 or 300 percent up) to make get the enhancements to look "right"

Vermin King: On the zebras, I did multiple enhancements and cartoon filters and used them at 100%, and they still didn't look that different than the photos

Vermin King: When I make a figure or terrain piece based on a photo, I clean it up and align things to look 'right', then I create another layer and do enhancing and cartoonizing on it. I then adjust opacity over the photo image until it looks good. On the zebras,

Vermin King: berneart76, do you mean giving them green or purple manes and tails? and a few piercings? maybe a cig hanging out of their mouths?
Feb 26, 2019 12:24:18 GMT -9
Vermin King: cartoonizing a zebra doesn't do much

Vermin King: And due to the snow, I'm off tonight. I am going to miss the cash on the paycheck, but I'm glad they want their employees to be safe

ignatious: Actually I was referring to the two previous posts. I was trying to be subtle in order to sublimate the crassness. Read them again, but in Mel Brooks voice while he is winking, and nudging the person to his right.

Vermin King: Sure. Euphemize us
Feb 8, 2019 18:40:48 GMT -9
ignatious: would anyone care for a euphemism?

cowboyleland: We hadn't had snow for a few days. Last night the plow came down my street and did nothing but fill every ones driveways back in. Just for practice, I guess.

Vermin King: In KC we had an ice storm (with thunder sleet) the other night. Left things drivable, but last night the plow came down my street. They took all the rough edges off. Might as well have ran a Zamboni...
