Ok so I have rolled a Dwarven monk for a Pathfinder game. I am looking for a mini that is obviously a dwarven martial artist OR a dwarven slave in shackles as I have given my character the vow of chains.

Any use? Just whipped him up, if he's any use I can do a PDF at high res with a few variants (weapons, equipment, stances, expressions).

Nice dwarf. Being the nitpicking person you all already know, i'd say that his left foot should be swapped (the fron with the back) as it seems that the big thumb is smaller than the other fingers. I think the two arms pose is a bit too stretched, being both behind the torso.
I like the colors, very "warm" figure.

I've been working in 15mm..... it's a lot more forgiving. Took me a while to work out what you meant on the foot, then I got it! Should really be a flat side on view. The arms do need an adjust, looks like he's being grabbed from behind. That's the beauty of vectors though It's a quick fix. Not nit-picking either, everything spotted is an improved mini. I couldn't do any of this before I started using this forum

Wow that is very impressive, especially for being "just whipped up." I would definetely use and pay for art of such quality. However, if I can give you specifics on my character and get a more personalized fig that would be awesome! Well done! One question. How did you get that done so fast? I guess I am just not artistically inclined. Did you use a program that makes it easier?

I just use inkscape, I've started thinking in vectors, so a model doesn't take too long Just pop on a description or even a sketch, I'll be happy to give it a go

Imagine pai mae from kill bill as a dwarf. Similar attire, white hair and beard, though not old looking. Well muscled as a dwarf should be. He carries a temple sword which is an exotic looking one handed short sword.

Any good? Nice. You're mastering vectors! Is'nt he a bit too tall? Even compared to the other one? I'd "stretch" it horizontally, to gain more "dwarvish" look... And (but this is a matter of taste) i'd cover the cheeks with the beard.... perhaps shorter, but i don't see dwarves with exposed cheeks

Granted, my artwork is crude to the point where 'art' shouldn't be in it, but I think this is very roughly and crudely what parduz was refering to. Son of a buck, I forgot this forum does not have attachments, and my photobucket was taken over by a guy that took over my msn account (I got hacked). Jose, if you message me, I will give you my email. Shoot me a request for my very poor illustration, and I will email you back. EDIT: I just spent 25 minutes trying to get something somewhat able to be posted, and can't. Razzum, frazzum, rum, rip!

Fixed the foot and altered the shoulders a bit. Aftershock, I'll get the rest of the parts finished for the Pei Mei dwarf and work up a page of variants. No charge, I'm just practicing, it's good to see them getting used Parduz: you're right, he's a bit more Kender or halfling than dwarf, I'll bulk him up a little He needs to be stocky, not just short.

The reverse of that foot seems to have slipped a bit though I've got a few other parts made, so I should be able to do a unit of dwarven monks with Pei Mei as a champion.
