Quick Update: All of the weapons are now done. I just need the troop type and I can get started.
Keep voting! ;D

You know.. Once you start ONE, then you can alway adapt them into other versions.
I already voted, but I say, make your core figures, or whichever ones that are easiest to adapt from the regular figures. The less you have to draw, the faster the results.
Regardless of the poll, I say that if you can do the Strikers first, do those. I dont think anyone will really complain that you got figures out there that you are offering for FREE, and they arent the ones they voted for...
Simply put, do the ones that you can do the quickest, and get those out there. Then maybe you can change a few pieces, add a little here or there, and that way you MAY not have to draw everything from scratch.
Just saying...

He has a good point, I will be happy with seeing any of these sets completed.

The reason I did a poll was really to say, "I'll have a go at one set...but I can't guarantee I'll do another. So I may as well do the one most people will go for". The Eclipse are a bit of a challenge. 'Photonic' armour? Sounds like some kind of Hi-Tech camouflage suits like the alien in Predator. So I fancy having a go at some kind of 'terrain' effect on the suits (for the highlights) blending into standard shadow, So I was thinking of using the the Onemonk base textures: Battlefield, sand, wasteland, that sort of thing. I'll also do a 'greyscale' set so people can have a go at their own colour schemes if they want. When (If!) I do the Strikers, I'll do multiple colour schemes like I did for the Sentries. Plus a grey scale to do your own colour schemes. And so on until I get bored and move back to Fearsome Adventures.

Rhannon Thanks for those pics! They look pretty cool! I've got a couple of ideas for the 'photonic' effect for the Eclipse Suits (And for the Sniper cloaks as well). I'll try them out when Ii start the figures. (But I've got to finish the customisable sentries & accompanying tutorial first!) Looks like the Eclipse troops are winning out though. KEEP VOTING! ;D DaveA

Why don't you make any commercial sets?
Not for a real gain, but for a true appreciation of your work.
In my country we say "free" is too little and gifted things aren't always fully appreciate.
I definitely buy your sets.

I definitely buy your sets. Rhannon Thank you! That's very flattering! ;D I have thought of making my own commercial sets, but I'm just not artistic enough to create my own original designs. I can copy other peoples work really well, though! (Hence the ZOA). UPDATE: Looks like the Eclipse troops won the voting, so they'll be next on the list. But the re-colours for the Sentry troops have to come first. I'm about 30% through with those - I've been very busy with work 'n' church. I'm hoping to make some headway over the weekend (and maybe even tomorrow if I can get into work early...) DaveA
