Just sorting out the release schedule for the end of this year and the start of 2012. For this year I'm looking forward to the release of Serene Fist 4: Katana Schoolgirls vs Zombie Furries (including free minigame) for November. Also for November release will be Beasts and Barbarians Set One: Adventurers. December will see two releases as well, One for Darkfast and another for the Whiplash Trigger Line. January will see a focus on Historical Fantasy with a Monastery Assault playset and a Late Picts set for Dark Age of Adventure. There will also be a release for the Retro Space Line and another for Darkfast early in the new year. Hopefully the Minigame included with Serene Fist 4 will pave the way for a free skirmish system (tentatively entitled the Okumarts Skirmish System). I will be including free card downloads for all existing sets and then releasing some other minigames, scenarios and roleplaying games as the year progresses. This has been an exciting half year for Okumarts Games. I'm really looking forward to the next six months and beyond.

Looking forward to those retro space and darkfast additions . Also curious about the skirmish game, will it come with a generator so we can create profiles for other mini's about the place?

Rhannon, the set isn't a new line. It is the one that he did with his Vikings. Not saying it wasn't a great set, just not one of the more popular (based on reaction here).
Then again, if someone gave you $500.00, then started giving you $1,000.00, the $500 wasn't bad, you just like the other value better! That's all.

I liked the Vikings. Most versatile set yet! You just have to remember that they are real Vikings, not Hollywood Vikings.
But then again my reference is GURPS Vikings and not whatever version of them D&D has made, with pointy bits and all (real vikings didn't had horned helmets).
Its a long wait till the next set of retrospace... Hope it is more Imperiax!
Maybe I'll play a little more Master of Orion and Star Control 2 on Dosbox while I wait...

I didn't say it wasn't a great set... I was merely saying his Elves and Ninja sets were very popular.
I PERSONALLY would like him to do more "Where No Man has Gone Before." I realize he couldn't sell that, so it would be a free set, and why work on free stuff when you could get paid for it?
At any rate, I love his work, and eventhough I haven't purchased every set he has made, the stuff of his I HAVE purchased is incredible!
I would like to see hime do some Greys... Roswellians, whatever you want to call them.
I would like to not see the over-sized heads, and nude bodies... but something closer to the Tau. Actually, something more along the lines of my Cier Empire figures I sketched up.
If I could make a request, I think that the silver jumpsuits would fit the retro style, with the faces like the Tau... that could be fun!
Another option that would be nice for the Retro Space would be different humans. Maybe not the fishbowl helmets, but more of like the old serials of the day... I can't think of the name right off hand, but there was this guy that looked liked Disney's Rocketeer that fought Martians and flew around... He had some allies that traveled with him... a fat guy that looked like Mr. French from Family Affair, and a woman that was a reporter... (Not very original NOW, but 50 years ago... that was cutting edge stuff).
The good thing about this latter option is that it would fit in PERFECTLY with Steam-Punk stuff!
Ok... that is just my thoughts... for what it's worth.

I love and appreciate all this input thanks. I want to address the sets people are inspired by and not spread myself too too thin. There are MANY sets I have started or have in my head that I want to do, but I don't want to overextend myself.
Just for fun I thought I'd share some sales data for the sets so you can see what sets are popular on a purely sales front. They are listed as most sales to least sales: 1. Darkfast Classic Fantasy Set 0 (an incredible 858 downloads so far) 2. Dark Age of Adventure Set 1 Vikings 3. Serene Fist Set 1 Monks vs Bandits 4. Serene Fist Set 2 Ninja vs Samurai 5. Darkfast Classic Fantasy Set 1 Orcs 6. Darkfast Classic Fantasy Set 2 Wood Elves 7. Whiplash Trigger Set 1 Gunslingers 8. Retrospace Set 3 Invaders 9. Whiplash Trigger Set 3 Unlikely Heroes 10. Serene Fist Set 3 Ninja vs Samurai 2 11. Retrospace Set 1 Space Patrol 12. Whiplash Trigger Set 2 Western Posse 13. Retrospace Set 3 Imperiax
So... if I was really paying attention (or in it for the money), I'd be releasing tons more Dark Age of Adventure minis. In fact I have two or three sets on the way, I just want to get them organized. The Imperiax is the weakest seller. Sales for this set are 3 times less than the top "for sale" item. Interesting trends.

It is a great set and and deserves all these downloads. But ... but it is a free set. Not many people appreciate free stuff rightly. Imho. I hope many downloads for all your sets.

Wow! First off... thanks, Steve! That is EXACTLY who I was thinking of! Being a huge Star Wars fan,you would have thought I would have been able to remember the name "Commander Cody." Secondly, you can tell I really keep up with Dave Okum's sales statistics... I knew that the Darkfast free set was his best "seller" so to speak. I wasn't sure hoe well the Whiplash Triggers sets were doing... but the Vikings being number one on the paid list... well, what are the odds that I would be WRONG? Me? Wrong? Hmmm... I haven't been wrong about anything since... what time is it now? Ok. I think it is really cool how you share the information with us like that (even if it DOES proove what an idiot I am... like we needed a post for THAT!) ;P I would list my downloads, but aside from the December Hoard, not a whole lot else happening there. Ok, we look forward to all that you have to offer us. For what its worth, the Imperiax is still my favorite set... goes to show the least popular set is my favorite! Now I have to go and attempt to pry this "L" off my forehead...

Dave, fear not, the Imperiax are one of my favourite sets as well. I am still very interested in adding to the Retrospace setting and I think the Retrospace Genrebook/rpg will give people the fluff about the Imperiax that will make them as cool as they look. Prepare War Rocket Ajax!

Huh, the silent majority is the winner, interesting statistic. So a mounted samurai and bandits set is in the way off future, I guess I need to start drawing my own. I never pay much attention to free set download numbers as a measure of success-so many people just download them simply because they are free, regardless of the content. Digital hoarders basically. Still, a pretty cool number and potentially good advertising for the rest of the line.
