I was thinking these would make a great generic super henchmen. Kiladecus improved on one of my concept pictures. He did the back art and coloring. I' was just toying with the proper scale for it. before I based it, but I like the idea of different sized suits.

I LOVE the stockier styles of options 2 or 3. You could use either of these and submit them to the forum Hoard this month!
Maybe I will do a green one! It reminds me of WARSTAR!

Actually, I decided that option 3 is my FAVORITE! But like you said, why not use them all. You called the tallest one Revision 1, why not name them all accordingly!
Great work Adam!

Actually, from left to right, I was thinking SAMPSON, ATLAS, HERCULES, and GOLIATH. Also inspired by reading the DeadPool Corps, I was thiking about making a kid sized one and calling him TITOThat way each chassis type has a name and future mods could be denoted with revision numbers. As supervillain fodder I think they are good as is, but for wargame use I was toying with the idea of optional 2.5D shoulder mounted cannons... Maybe we can work a green military model/revision with the additional weaponry, and these yellow prototypes were stolen by some nefarious villain to use as henchmen.

2.5d shoulder weaponry would be welcome

DUDE, get outta my head!
I was already getting my weapons together from Armor Grid Games Mech Factory and Slick's weapons from his NCC Power Armor.
I guess this would be a good time to remind you that the M.A.D. weapons or equivelent would be PERFECT for these!
Email them to me, and let me see what I can do!
You want these in Olive Drab? I will see what I can do. I was also thinking red, potentially, maybe not. I would also love to see a brilliant EMERALD GREEN like Warstar.
Keep in mind... not all weapons have to be seen. On the Hercules suit, it looks like there are weapons mounted in the hands, one on either side of the fingers.
Also, the ATLAS has missile launchers under the the panels on the lower left and right torsos. Perhaps I shoud make a version with these panels open for display purposes!
The Goliath (also know as "Tall-Man") has a shield generator embedded in its center torso.
The red circles on the backs of the hands are power couplings with built-in fire control modules. Nearly any weapon can be placed between the forearm struts and connected to these ports (basically, if you cut a lit in the arms along the lines drawn, you can mount weapons on the forearms).
There are also mounting brackets with these couplings on the tops of the shoulders.
Plus all versions have boosters built into their rear left and right torsos that grant them limited jump capabilities.
You know what? I forsee the Sampson units being fileded against my Mech Attack figures!
So much potential with these.

These are really cool, as soon as you mentioned shoulder weapons I was also thinking of busting out my mech attack stuff.

I'm going to be busting out round toothpicks. Gonna cut the arms off at the shoulder and glue the toothpick in between the front and back halves of the torso. I'll glue the arms together over the protruding ends and keep them moving until the glue is mostly set and remove them to finish drying. Once dry I'll stick them back on and have limited positioning of the arms.
I like this a lot. And yes, I realize the toothpicks will have to be cut to a desired length.

I have a rule (personal preferrence) that anything over a certain hiegh needs to be 3D (or at least 2.5D). My plan is to bend the shoulders at the point where they meet the torsos back about 25 degrees, just to give the illusion of 2.5D. The weapons will help. I think if Adam takes his M.A.D. weapons and resizes them in a variety of sizes (like he did the Exo's), then he can make a whole aresenal with one simple design! So freakin' cool!

I have a few ideas how to make it 2.5D, the simplest would be to remove the arms and rotate and reattach them. Something I'll have to toy with. In the mean time, here's a Shoulder mounted Heavy Gun

Very cool, are there going to be any more weapons?

Very cool, are there going to be any more weapons? I'm glad you like it. They'll eventually be more weapon designs, but they'll have to wait. I don't even have these exosuits in model form yet, and I'd just be shooting in dark as to what scale would look appropriate. Also, I didn't really intend on this being a 2.5D. If it's going to grow into a 2.5D model there is some redesign and test building to do. For now I'm going to concentrate on getting the 2D version finished

2d is fine. They fit on the edge of what I like to see as 2.5d, so I will probably bulk them out a bit by laminating layers and putting shims between the halves. Maybe not. We'll just have to see.
