Hello again!
************
TLDR
-what's wrong with it/why don't you like it (IMPORTANT NOTE: Parduzing highly welcomed!)?
-what would be the best-sounding tittle/self-explanatory name for whole series and particular sub-issues?
-your wishlist?
************
It's lazy Saturday Night, so let me tell you short tale:
"
No... not "long time ago"... actually it's quite fresh story which happened during last week...
So... I was working on Elven Cavalry Sets (which BTW are about to release):
-Unicorn Riders
-Gryphon Riders
-Beast Riders (or Heavy Cavalry?)
-Chariots
Almost finished first two sets...
...but during the work process I was designing/modding different figures and poses, so obviously I needed a lot of differently posed mounts and eventually I realized that at least some of them could act as a separate/standalone figures (kinda allied battle-creatures/mounts?) - and from this point - there was fast track to... standalone mounts=>creatures!
So I started playing/modding with various mounts.
Unfortunately I got looped - vide simple ALGORITHM:
BEGIN LOOP
---
IF Function(Stripped Battle Horse) + Horns + EnormouslyLooong(Tail)) x [fancy colours]) = Unicorn
THEN (Unicorn - Horn + F...Wings) x even more [fancy colours] = Pegasus
ELSE
(Pegasus + Horn) = PegaCorn //COMMENT: ie Pegasus + uniCorn//
THEN
(((Pegacorn - Horn) + Dual Horn) + Snake-like Tail) x [dark colour scheme] = DuoCorn //COMMENT: ie Dark Pegacorn//
---
END LOOP
(for severe programmers out there - there's no UNTIL's/WHILE's typical for looped constructions within structured programmin' languages thus no loop break condition etc... it's just a joke and some kinda idea flow, so please don't bash me to much!
After execution status: both Parsing/Compilation success ed and after several iterations output received was bunch of not-so-bad-looking (IMHO! creatures!!!
To be honest wasn't quite sure but first impression was that it would be kinda shame just to RID them all - don't Ya think so? Anyway next step idea was to compile algorithm output figures into standalone Set/Sets!
So - let me proudly present:
Fantasy-known Unicorn Tribe (Set #1?)
(Q: or should I wrote Unicorn+s Tribe... or perhaps Unicorn Tribe+s?!)
Pegasus Tribe (Set #2?)
(Q: BTW Pegasus plural form is...?!)
Creatures Of Dark - Pegacorns (Set #3?)
Other side of shiny and filled with Light (ie. good ones:) Unicorns and Pegasuses - I think that there is a lot of roles for such a creatures in RPG?
Each Set should be minimum 4 pages (or 5-6 if with individually prepared bases - BTW "reivaj-type" ones)
-----
Well... in overall - what's your impression?
I'm intended to publish presented figures/sets (some changes are still possible and most of them would depend of YOUR judging:) although I'm afraid that they wouldn't hit the bulls-eye in terms of sales success
=>>>But still - I got some questions and would highly appreciated your help and suggestions:
1. First (in fact crucial one;):
a) do YOU like it in general?
b) do YOU got some expectations regarding colour schemes or poses?
c) do you like idea with "modding" page(s) - ie pages with separate various colour mounts and wings, horns and grounds etc.. SO you can assemble your own Pegasus/Pegacorn (considering simple Unicorn there is not much to dding/assemble - perhaps different horns?
d) do you like "white/no colour" mount idea - so you can colour it according to your individual needs/preferences?
e) what do you think about EASY!3D / 2.5D figures when available (Pegasuses and Duocorns - can't imagine 2.5D Unicorns)
2. How to tittle/name whole series and sub-set's:
"
Fantasy Creatures
1. Unicorns
2. Pegasuses (?)
3. Gryphons
4. ...etc...
"
Or perhaps should I tittle/name sets: Unicorn Tribe or Pack/Tribe Of Unicorns?
I'm looking for a)English language correct tittle b)Genre/theme oriented and self-descriptioning within the RPG community tittle
=>>>SO - if you have any ideas / suggestions / comments - PLEASE do not hesitate
Cheers,
/mesper
EDIT: spelling!
