Hello!
Fantasy Set #4 DUOCORNS released!
RPGnow:
www.rpgnow.com/product/100432/Fantasy-Creatures---Set2%3A-Duocorns?src=FrontPage
Price:3.75 2.95
You may ask - it's quite similar to Set#3 with Pegasi, so what's the idea behind this set?
(OK, there are some minor differences aka horns, snake-like tails and of course colors, but actually figurines poses and whole set composition is in fact similar.)
Well, so what's the excuse (if needed:)? It's a mater of fair-play if not balance - I can imagine Fantasy RPG players who plays "on Dark Side" (or some other different from Human Heroes, Elves, Dwarves etc.) and are disappointed or even jealous that the other factions got such a powerful and nice-looking creatures like goldenwing Pegasi in their ranks...
So just to be fair I decided to release Duocorns, as Dark-side equivalent / analog of shiny Pegasi, Pegacorns and Unicorns (Ooops... FORGOT about UNICORNS?!?)
SET DESCRIPTION
PDF:
7 pages (cover + 5 pages with figurines + info page)
This set includes 30 minis total
Figures:
6 basic Duocorn figures:
- Wild Duocorn
- Champion
- Princess x2
- Flying Duocorn x2
Color variations:
- Dark (Black)
- Bloodskin
- Goldenwing
- Bluewing
- Greenwing
Set#4 Duocorns pages preview:
Planned Future Releases Preview:
Set includes also Info-Page, with brief preview of planned releases - just to give some idea.
Here, on Cardboard Warriors Forum I was going to make a pool (preferably in separate thread) using these graphics but it's too late, so just a sneak preview
Under some positions/pictures more sets are "hidden". For example there will be at least 2 sets dedicated to Dwarves: footman and bear-riders. But from the other hand, just to be honest, in fact last 3-4 positions are still under consideration (in terms of 30mm), especially Sci-Fi
There are also some other projects which could be possibly released in the future:
Dark Fantasy:
- Dragonriders
- Undead and Death Knights
- Vampires and Werewolves
- Orcs (a lot of dreadful Orcs - trust me you would be surprised and amazed)
Wild West Story:
- Indians
- Gunslingers
- Cowboys
- Trappers & Goldrush
- US Wells-Fargo Coach
- some applicable scenery?
Dark Fantasy series (vide picture #7) is very demanding graphically - real time sink indeed! Wild West is rather historical (although I've seen at least couple sets including 2 from Okumart if I remember correctly?) - therefore so far I'm not convinced...
OK, hope you will like Duocorns
;D
