Looks FANTASTIC, as usual!
I can't wait until Friday so I can pick this up! Maybe by then you'll have the second set out, too! That would be awesome! ;D
Hmmm... There is no lightning or construct/ clock-work elementals, so a couple of my wizards won't be able to cast an elemental (unless you did a color revision on something like the darkfire elemental to be lightning... and added one of your Sci-Fi creatures to be a clock-work elemental).
Oh well... at any rate these sets look phenomenal!

I've just got the first set of elementals, and I'm glad to see the set will be supplemented with a second set. I like them!
Interestingly enough, according to the classical cosmology of antiquity, the earth elementals were HUMAN BEINGS! Air elementals were daemonoi or genii, and fire elementals were gods.
Have fun! Steve

Thanks guys! kiladecusCan you please elaborate/describe more detailed what do you mean by "lightning or construct/ clock-work" -- OK I can imagine some machine / cog-wheels kinda in quality/classy watches? but... lightning construct??? Perhaps some references/samples could be helpful here ... stevelortzGlad that you like this set and thanks for downloading! Ad. Humans -- in fact whole set / all figurines are based on humans -- it was basic assumption for this project. Although some difficulties arose -- how to show eternal / airy / lightweight or unstable/transitory nature of some of elementals - especially fire, sand and windy ones... And as you can see - Fire elementals have no black outline - they got kinda "hallo-effect" instead -- it's wider/thicker than outline so you can trim it according your needs (and perhaps finish with color marker - personally didn't try it with this figure and not sure if it is good idea?). Anyway -- next set foretells as more "solid" in term that there will be stone / rock, ice and trees... so figures will have concrete/stable boundaries -- even water elemental (the one with trident on preview) is designed more as humanoid. I've also "experimented" with colors, shapes and sizes -- so players can treat/use let's say big versions as more powerful and smaller as lesser ones. Shapes and colors should allow for whole "pack" of elementals... so there will be no army of clones... I have to confess that I started 2.5D versions of some elementals -- nature (tree) and stone/rock (these were simplest to do obviously) -- by adding attachable and bend-able(?) arms and legs and near-the-base parts (ie. roots) -- but with other ones it wasn't so attractive and promising - so maybe when I figure out how to design at least 2 other figures then it will be chance for standalone mini-set?

And this for the clock-work beast. Only with cogs, and bones on it to look like it was made with things from a dungeon floor. Just examples... Attachments:

In my campaign there are dwarven geomancers, each of whom usually has at least one small earth elemental as a familiar. The earth elemental familiars can "swim" through the earth and report back what they find. The cultural rationale for them is that dwarven geomancers can assist dwarven engineers in planning mine and tunnel construction operations. They can also prove useful in dungeon crawls.
The earth elemental familiars can bring back highly detailed information about the chemical make up of the earth around them. They "taste" it as they "swim". The information is so detailed, only a geomancer can interpret it. But their sense of time and space is different, introducing an element of uncertainty in the amount of time it would take for them to complete a mission.
While they can report back whether the earth in a certain direction is solid or has cavities in it, they can't communicate exact distances or dimensions.
Your small earth elementals look like they will make excellent familiars for dwarven geomancers in my campaign!
Have fun! Steve

Your small earth elementals look like they will make excellent familiars for dwarven geomancers in my campaign! Super - it's good to know that figures are useful!!! However I got the impression that Stone / Rock Elementals (vide the one turned back in center of Elementals 2 teaser) would look/suit better standing by Dwarf... So perhaps I will add couple of these, scaled "around" Dwarves (ie some taller, some equal or even smaller) and in various colors -- red rock, granite, various marble, basalt, silicon etc... so you will have: a) choice (earthen or stone/rock) b) whole bunch of specialized stone/rock elementals (and fun of course!)

Here is my take on this... The smaller size are familiars for low-level wizards to cast. The human size are for average level wizards, and these are more like golems. The large ones are the actual elementals, and only higher level wizards could summon those. Larger ones would be Titans. These are for the MAJOR wizards or masters. Keep in mind... that almost ANY wizard can SUMMON these... it is something altogether different to CONTROL them. That is why low-level wizards summon familiars. If they go astray, then there isn't too much bedlam. Afterall, who wants an epitaph that reads: "KILLED BY HIS OWN SUMMONING." Also, I LOVE the idea of the Dark Fire elemental. PERFECT for a Shadowmancer!

...water elementals they're thin and/or muscular. Never thought about fat water elemental Err... actually the fat one supposed to be... Earthen Elemental (there are brown, bluish green, red aspect... you know, various earth / mud etc... so perhaps gray-blue one might be associated with water...) But funny thing is that... Water Elemental is shown on teaser graphics (the one with trident) -- and indeed, he is both thin and muscular! =>>> ANYWAY you can name and play them as you want -- thus perhaps fat one is "Still Water Elemental" or "Sweet Water" and the one with trident... "Ocean" or "Water-Wave Elemental"
