Excellent! Thank you.
Now if I could draw your attention to the movie Bad Boys, would a trash truck be possible?

A trash truck might be possible... I was goofing around on sketchup for a couple of hours last night and came up with this: Thank Parduz for a good idea: a modular system for building trucks with a front end, a cab, a rear wheel section and a simple frame/extender. All put together like fairly simple boxes, then assembled. Add your custom "work bits" onto the frame, and you could have a tractor trailer, a school bus, a garbage truck, a flatbed..... I could do the same kind of thing with my existing van cab as well. Sorry to tease you with this, but don't expect them any time real soon though. I don't think I'm gonna have quite as much time for a little while...but I'll see what I can do.... GM

Absolutely amazing. I'll have to take special care to keep everything 'square and true', but it will be worth it.

Oh my goodness! A TRASH TRUCK!
I know this sounds STUPID (even for ME), but when I first started designing "The Balance of Power" (predecessor of ERA OF WAR), I had a group that used garbage trucks as APC's. The rear wheels were tank treads, and they had a .50cal HMG in the back. The trucks were large enough to house a squad of troops, and the HMG provided cover when the troops were embarking and disembarking.
I will have to build this once the set is up.
OFF TOPIC: Let me also say something else on a personal note. I really never followed you as an artist, but I built your canoe from the Forum Hoard (the Cowboys and Indians set). I have to say that it was very well thought out, and looks very cool. I really started getting into your Lakeside Town idea...
BUT THIS SET... I give you credit. I haven't started downloading the cars yet (because my limited mind can only focus on one thing at a time or else I spend all of my time downloading, and NONE of it building). These seem to be very Ebble-sque and look fairly easy to assemble.
I am planning on getting rid of my HERO CLIX collection *soon* because I don't have room for it AND my papercraft. So, I was wondering if you could tell me where I can get a copy of that Hulk, and if there are more super hero figures... I can't go without my hero fix, and these could be a great alternative!
I can't wait to build these cars and use them in my HERO CITY (or whatever) game. Looks great!
Thanks for your attention.

Here's my take on the James Bond style SuperCar. Up now for down load. inkjetpaperscissors.blogspot.ca/2012/05/supercar.htmlHope you like, GM. @kiladeus Thanks for the props. Yeah, the idea was to make them as easy and quick to build as possible, but not look like it. Hope I succeeded. I can draft OK, and draw a bit, and render...but I've got butterfingers when it comes to anything with knives, scissors or glue. So if I'm gonna make them, they better be easy. (I'm in awe of some of the Japanese papercraft out there....how do they work with such little tiny, fussy bits....? Definitely not in my skill set.) And the Hulk was a one-off, scanned and photoshopped out of a comic-book. I have the comic book, but I don't think I even have the file anymore. His backside is a quick 3rd grade colouring job with black, green and purple markers. What one must do when the need arises....

Love the supercar! Thanks for the input! I guess I am going to have to make my own super heroes... Since it is for fun, the coloring book idea isn't bad! I could alway just to double-fronts to represent the heroes (since you can't sneak up on them anyway).

Very nice.
Now for the 'self-promotion' reminder I find myself giving almost everyone ... you should put the link to your blog in your signature. Make it easy for people to get there.

I'm so confused. If there are no cows in space, where does tank beef come from? LOL

Last actual car for a while, the Pony Car. (mostly a Mustang, but has a few little Camaro like bits) Sorry, no actual pic, but I'm now out of ink and the only build I have is one of those strange, smeary, out-of-ink, WTF-colour-was-that-? colour. Here's where to get it: inkjetpaperscissors.blogspot.ca/2012/06/pony-car.htmlHope you like, GM. PS, if there are no cows in space, then what's the deal with all the space cowboys....?

Thank you. Even though they aren't 3d wheels, by having front and backs to the wheels, it will give them durability, especially since they sit fairly low to the ground. I'll still probably add another layer between since I'm doing them on the backs of old ad slicks that are about 40lb paper.
A very nice set.

Excellent! I'm a little confused on the rear tire, the way it is laid out on the chassis. I think it might almost look better to just have half-tires and show chassis behind them.
And pdf on this. nice. I have a request on the trash truck when it comes up. Most garbage trucks around here are either green or red.

The rear tires are finished the same way as all the other car models.
I guess they do look a little funny on the print sheet...when the tire's folded up, you do get a bit of the 3d illusion.
Red or Green trash truck, huh....? That might be possible.....

RE: Trash Truck...
PLEASE have some grime, pealing paint, and shiny corners (where the paint is chipping) to give it a dirty/used feel!
I can't wait for those! I will slap some tank treads on the rear wheels, and have my Post-Apocolyptic APC's! ;D
ALSO: I haven't had a chance to download the PDG's yet, but is the front of the garbage truck able to be printed without the added hood? Some trash trucks around here have a flat/snub-nosed front. There is a grill under the windshield with the lights and everything there (like on certain semi's.... Speaking of which, by doing this, to the semi's, too, it will give the end-user TWO versions to choose from. If they wanted the LONG nose, they can glue that oprtion OVER the grill on the front. If they choose to use it or not, then that gives them "two" model varients.
I hope you know what I mean...
Fantastic job with these!

The garbage truck is done: But I changed it to red, and I covered it in crap. It was kind of a rushed job, and not exactly the kind of texturing I'm really familiar with, so I hope it works for you guys. Let me know what you think. (it looks a lot different than the picture...) Get it here: inkjetpaperscissors.blogspot.ca/2012/06/garbage-truck.htmlGM

Holy cow this is AWESOME! It is the first of your models I have downloaded, and I know it won't be the last! Thank you so much for sharing these with us. I realized that after I downloaded the PDF, my idea of the snub-nose wouldn't work. There are those pesky wheels you need in the front! Great model! I can't wait to have it hit the battlefiled (with a slight modification of two)! Very cool!

Bless You!!! This is fantastic! Took me a couple minutes of looking to get the build figured out, but this is going to be out-of-the-park.
Have you thought of doing a dump truck for this line? In viewing the red you picked for the trash truck, I started thinking dump truck. I could see it used like in Independence Day as a refugee hauler, or as I've seen on the news a couple times, a partisan transport/munitions hauler. With cab and chassis design worked out already, it would be designing the open box ... if you have an interest.

Here's another one: the city bus. Pretty simple build. The long white bits are reinforcement beams for the four long sides. (same as with the schoolbus). Makes the model a little tougher. Here it is: inkjetpaperscissors.blogspot.ca/2012/06/city-bus.htmlGM. PS: yeah, I've got a pretty big list of possibilities with this set: flatbed, dumptruck, gravel truck, tractor-trailor.... They're on the to-do list, but gonna have to wait a little. I do have a box-truck ready to go today though.

... That's it for the trucks for a little while. I want to get onto Laketown and my viking style village for a bit. GM Really a great job ( the entire project cars&trucks ), grendelsmother64. Congratulations and thanks. I suppose that the cars and trucks' models are those in the same scale ( sorry but I don't know much about models / buildings. When I read 1:60 beginning to scare me ) so, if e when, you will like to return on this project ... I suggest a last model that joins cars and trucks. I don't know english name for this ( in italian is "bisarca" ) but it is: in english may be transporter-truck. ( but this is only my translation ) For now for now I wish you enjoy working with the "Laketown" project.
