ODYSSEUS/ULYSSES!! I LOVE the ILIAD! It is one of the few hardbound books I actually own! Just don't make Achieles look like Brat Pitt. Ok? Adding this to my Wishlist. Bought it. Reviewed it. Waiting for more. ;D

I bought it and gave it a 5-star review also! I'd like to see a set of light troops, such as helots, psiloi, etc.
I'd also like to see a "trophy" included as a piece of scenery in a future set. The "trophy" was a huge heap of all the broken weapons and damaged armor of the defeated foe, used to mark the site of the battle.
Some chariots would be good for a Homeric set, as would a funeral pyre for dead heroes.
Have fun! Steve

What is set "PMD - H04", please? => PMD-H04 => Azzure / Bluish Buccaneers "H" stands for Historical and "F" (obviously) for Fantasy series -- although color versions of pirates are some kind of special mix... I'm thinking of these sets as "skirmish dedicated" sets or kinda "extended" versions of basic set -- so used different cover background color (red) just to diversifying them from standard/origin sets. When (IF) I'll release some Sci-Fi I'll probably give them "code-name" with "S" for Science or Space (and perhaps some futuristic silver/ metal for cover main color) and for this sub-series numbers will start from 1. Then if (again:) I will put my hands into scenery / 2.5/3D buildings / vehicles etc... then hmm... S for Scenery is already occupied, so perhaps T for Terrain??? (not very intuitive for vehicles... or D for Diorama accessories? -- and different background cover (light brown/pale yellow as green I'd like to keep for modern ie WWI/II and WWW). Then I'm also thinking of some sort of "expansions" or rather... addendum sets -- often after release I got some "leftovers" ie. unused figures or accessories or additional color/weapon versions, which might be somehow interested/useful for some users... they might be combined and released later as special/bonus pack for modders etc... so probably they will have letter added to serial ID in order to associate them with basic set/series (kinda PMD-H99b ?) Well it might look as I have kinda long-term plans and detailed schedule -- which is not exactly true, but even longest journey starts from first step... so at least I've already some ideas regarding color IDs

The "trophy" was a huge heap of all the broken weapons and damaged armor of the defeated foe, used to mark the site of the battle. Some chariots would be good for a Homeric set, as would a funeral pyre for dead heroes. Thanks for review - actually I'm glad that you've noticed that I was trying to avoid "left-handed clone army" -- at least for fighting figures! (Although historically there was whole left-handed "specialized" units - vide Janissary or Persian archers -- it was more convenient for them to fire from right flank/army-wing towards the center formation of approaching enemies) Ad. Trophy - good idea! I was thinking about adding some victory-monument -- sitting lion or Nike sculpture on some pedestal from earth or stones - rough and carved / builded from locally gathered stones or wood -- most of battle descriptions in Tukidydes "Peloponnese War" is ended with sentence that winners "raises/set-up victory memorial monument" but just red about this so started some search for references. So some "pile" of trophy armor/weapons might be good idea here (instead ar additionaly to "monument") -- ancient ones of course -- picture below is medieval / fantasy setting and it's rather some castle or field-camp armory/arsenal -- and it's too orderly but perhaps it gives some idea? While I'm not convinced to pyre idea itself... agree that chariots might be tempting/interesting... however these would be quite big and mostly "long" figurines (fast running horses + shaft/beam + cart...)... and I can already almost hearing voices that is should be 2.5D or 3D... Ad. Light infantry Youp! that's also my plan -- so please keep fingers crossed that there will be some interest with this first set... then there shouldn't be any problems with followers (following issues)

Maybe a re-textured "pile of stuff" from hoard 96 would make a good trophy? I would suggest tabs (paper hooks) so it could store flat. Just an idea.

It might be a good idea to have a musician or two playing pipes in a future set!
Have fun! Steve

Hi Permes, are you still considering creating a light infantry (slingers and archers) set to accompany the Hoplites? Thanks.

Hi Permes, are you still considering creating a light infantry (slingers and archers) set to accompany the Hoplites? Thanks. Yep! I'm planning some "cross-series/set" ancient light infantry set with archers (mostly Cretan and Balkan mercenaries but also Roman auxiliary /Sagittarii), slingers (Balearic/Spanish and Egyptian) then also light infantry: scouts and spearmen (with javelines). In fact most of figurines are ready, still I'd like to finish some other series and sets (30 Year's War Cavalry comes to my mind as well as Persian Cavalry), then I'm (kinda slowly) working on Roma Aetherna and Sci-Fi series - so sorry to say but not sure when it could be released...
