I have started about 4 projects, and I am not sure which one I want to focus on right now. Does this look like it would interest anyone? If I get some positive feedback, then I can "finish" this... once I decide which directio to go with this. (I have to get something done before Rhannon returns). Attachments:

Dressed up as classical Greek, it would go well with Mesper's ancient warriors!
Have fun! Steve

I never thought of that! They would also go well with Reivaj's Hoplites, as well!

Here is some of the cleaned up line art. I have about 5 figures in the set drawn, and a few more to go. He has "real" eyes. Only the Elites have the nose rings, since they are a status symbol. They wear them as a badge of honor from the days they were held in captivity, and used for entertainment in arenas and labyrinthes. The "freeborn" Minotaurs are not allowed by the Great Council to wear them. It is a blasphemy to the "Honored Ones." In case you wondered why more of them don't have them. Attachments:

Thanks, Guys! I am about half-way through the lineart stage. I have 4 fronts and backs done, plus two more fronts done. Just a few more, and then I can begin the coloring stages.

This has really started to come together. I had a couple good friends offer me some pointers, and I was able to overcome some big obstacles. It's getting there. Attachments:

Thanks! ;D
I have a LOT to do to finish this set. I have too many ideas for the time I allowed to for me to do this... I will see how much I get done before my "deadline."
Now that I have established my own style, and am developing my techniques (which still leaves a lot to be desired), I am getting close...ish to releasing this by the 20th.
We shall see...

His name is ANGUS THE BLACK. He is MORE than a Shaman... he is the most POWEREFUL wizard I have EVER created. He can stand toe to toe with my Pyromancer and if the two were to fight, it would do more damage than te Woo Shu Finger Hold.

He really looks great, Kil. I think your artwork is improving by leaps and bounds! I wonder, could small adjustments to the horns and ears make him easier to cut out, or is that space between the staff and horn going to be black anyway?
Again, he looks awsome!

I'd probably cut it out, but I'm weird that way. Probably even shove a pushpin through the little spot between the ear, horn and staff.
Excellent figure

Thanks!
That little space by the ear escaped me until I did the final coloring. It isn't bad really. (I left that space white so people could leave it, cut it out, or like me, use a Sharpie to fill it in). It isn't too bad, though.
His staff was a bit of work, and I have been kissed by a muse or something this week. I have done some cool design and Angus's staff was a thing of genius. It is a golden scepter with FOUR minotaur skulls on each side of it. The skulls are met by golden horns that work as magical spires to channel energy and direct it at a target. How cool is THAT!
There are a couple trouble spots that are in the set honestly. The spot by Angus's broken horn and chip in his axe weren't bad a ALL. I hoped they wouldn't be so I tried to leave them on the outside edge.
The shield bearers had a little spot behind their lower kneecap that can be a bit tricky. Also the other commander has a small space between his tunic and ankle that is a little tricky, but I was able to cut it out fine, so nothing TOO awful. I am still learning, so we will call it "growing pains."
I think the set is fun and has some potential. I try to mix things up a bit and do some unexpected things, this set is no different.
My ink cartridge died (I litterally printed out over 20 sheets of Minotaurs making sure the alignment was as close to perfect as I can get it. I came up with a new technique that made the second page print in less than five! A substantial savings in ink. So my ink is gone, and I am trying to print these and am getting purple Minotaurs... Blah!
I will do a final color test tomorrow... then the REAL work begins.
