Hmm... I did a set of these back in the fall and I didn't like the way they turned out. My latest drawings have been much more promising and I think I have a better idea of what I want to do with the series. Thematically this line will encompass the grit and glamour of UK action and pop culture from the 60s til now. Think The Avengers, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Hot Fuzz, Snatch, This is England, The Prisoner, James Bond, Captain Scarlet, Spooks or Trainspotting.

It is more or less a given that if you make them I will buy them, but throw Harry Palmer, The Champions and Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) into the mix and I will all but camp on your doorstep shouting "Are We There Yet?" through your letterbox until this set is available...I am that keen
I follow Crooked Dice's products on Wargame Vault ( I don't know why Crooked Dice doesn't use RPGNow or DTRPG. They are most popular and most visible, imho ) and on TGN ( for minis )
Crooked Dice produces excellent miniatures ( I speak about 7TV series ). Shame that I have promised to buy no more plastic or metal miniatures. But they are really beautiful (and evocative of the 70's original TV series )
I have not bought these rules (in these days I got beasts & barbarians and Cosmic Patrol, Okumarts' figures need some setting ;D ) but I am very interested about them.
I love fantasy, sci-fi and modern horror but I like too all those original settings, "minors". In italian we say "of niche", how would say Henry the Fifth: "for lucky few" ( he did not say exactly but it looks like this ;D )
Retro sci-fi ( or pulp sci-fi ), horror in ancient times ( eg AD43 ), WWW, adventures in RCW, steampunk, pulp, alternate history ... and many others.
S.O.B. (see what I did there?) is next up after the Whiplash Trigger set. (Then kobolds, some robots and maybe some more fantasy monsters before christmas(. I am hoping for two (or even three) sets out with the first release.
Getting a few sketches and ideas ready for the first SOB release in January.
The line is geared for modern street skirmishes and RPGs set in the golden age of British TV adventure 1960s-1980s. There will be more fanciful sets released as well including a steampunk element that will be really fun.
Inks. The Queen's Guard set should be a ton of fun. Now to draw the backside and finish up with the weapons. I will have to have a few tartans to choose from... I'm thinking one for each of the royal castles in Scotland?

Just colouring and tweaking now, but lots, I mean LOTS of work to do still with the bonus layers. I had a bit of a crash and burn with the first kick at it and I'm still working to finish this today. Soon... This image shows that the tartans and the weapons will be on different layers. There will also be various colours of uniforms. I've seen everything from blue to green to tan with these. I'm creating an idealized/fantasy setting so I'm just having fun with it... one foot in reality and the other in whimsy.

General dress uniforms are brown/green, black/blue uniforms are worn on special occasions. Red uniforms are only worn by special regiments, there's also a tan/white uniform which is only really used abroad.

Finishing up the set this week. My mom ended up in the hospital last week so much of my free time has been spent dealing with those issues. The weapon and tartan options with this set have been a pain in the butt, but I've learned many useful Adobe Illustrator skills. Bonus layers will be fun, but I need time to get it together this week. Not long... not long.

Thanks so much for your thoughts and kind words. My mom is heading home from the hospital today. Yay! Anyway... my concern has been what the third modern era weapon option should be for the Scots Guards. I have an L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle for "historic era games, an Enfield Bullpup rifle for modern era gaming and... no third option... any ideas military fans? I've been digging through some old Osprey books and that seems to be it other than maybe a Sterling SMG. The flat nature of a paper mini makes it difficult to see the characteristic side clip of a Sterling however... what to do, what to do?
Vermin King: For Papercuts this year, I am just going to use things created since last Papercuts. Bessie for the model and Onager Longhauler for the kitbash. I was going to build 10 Downing St for a Bessie backdrop, but that ain't happening

Vermin King: I've decided I need to stop trying to get stuff back that I lost and get back to working on new stuff. Until work stuff gets caught up, I need to fight the rebuilding aspect.

Vermin King: And none of the Streetpaper Advent models were in there, and only seven of bravesirkevin's figures are in there, and none of my purchased ones... And the old Canon kid's models are still beyond reach

Vermin King: I feel less 'at a complete loss', now. I found a thumb drive of 'Papercraft'. Not sure how old it is, but it does have the Zio models, old Streetpaper, old Canon and HP models, etc. Now it is just an overwhelming loss
