GREY MATTER GAMES is proud to announce XIARN DYNASTY is the third set of figures being released for the game ERA OF WAR scheduled to be released around the end of 2012. This set features everything you need to build a 1,000 point or larger army. It features an overview of the rules and gives information regarding the squad set-up and weapons.
There are 10 figures in this set that can be used to build the squads, and rules for incorporating a few figures from WARMANCERS: Battle Wizards Set One, as well as the Pet Drake (both sold separately). These figures can also be used in other RPG or other table-top wargaming. The figures include:
•Warrior (Male - with 3 weapon options) •Warrior (Female - with 2 weapon options) •Conscript •Ninja •Samurai •Drake Hound •Dynast Seer •Xiang-Wu Akuma (Demon) •Warlord •Dragon of the Ancients •Banner of the Ancient Ones (to mark your Commander) •Flame/Lightning Bolt template •Easy reference chart for all units in this set, as well as select others from other ERA OF WAR sets. All artwork is 300 dpi, and scaled for use with 25-30mm figures. There is also a sheet of bases featuring new "Sand" texture for outdoor settings, as well as complete instructions for assembly.
These figures can be used in almost any genre, and can add some challenge to your heroes exploring space, dungeons or other Oriental themed settings.
My systems are gummed up right now, but I'm certainly looking forward to getting them corrected so I can get these figures! I have a star-roving race in my sci-fi campaign based on dragons just like the one in this set!
