All of my minis are approximately 28mm (The human sized ones are 1 inch across at the base).. the Leyline Walker and my human sized minis are all done in a box that's essentially 6ft tall. The Grackletooth is about 7ft tall in an 8ft tall box. In this image from the gallery linked a few posts above you can see the Elf is in an 8ft box as Palladium Elves range from 6-7ft tall, and the Wolfen is in a 10ft box as they range from 7-10ft tall. The dwarf is actually laid out in the same size box as the humans, I just cut it down to save space on the freebie package. Dwarves and Goblins range the same height, and I may start to design with all of them in the same shorter box, but using the human sized box leaves room for pole-arms and overhand weapon swings.

So potential Palladium settings for additional mini projects; RIFTS, RIFTS: Phase World (space opera), Ninjas & Superspies, Nightbane (superhero horror like Clive Barker's Nightbreed), Dead Reign (zombie apocalypse), and Heroes Unlimited. To that end, here's another sample, a Superhero for Heroes Unlimited.

Oy, been far too long.
I picked up a new client at GenCon doing book covers for Sci-Fi and Fantasy novels. I've done three so far for the man, but he's not the best communicator so it's taken all this time to get them done.
The Great Horned Dragon didn't turn out as good as I had hoped so I need to go back to the drawing board on it. But I do have sets 3 and 4 done and almost ready to go, so they'll probably hit the stores soon. The first set of all females shouldn't be too far behind either.

Thanks. I'm generally not one to do "Cheesecake" images, but with the cover of Rifter #69, I wanted to do homage to the original character classes for the RIFTS RPG (2015 is the 25th anniversary of the game). So when it came to doing a character to represent the Crazy O.C.C., my experience with women before my wife inspired the following image.

Well, I've gotten enough commissions to get the Christmas money I needed with some extra to spare.. I went and bought some kick-@$$ armor and created some texture sets that I think just about perfectly nail the RIFTS Coalition States Deadboy Armor Mark II.

Well, here we are in the January dead-zone; Commissions have dried up at a crucial time, so it's looking like I'm going to miss my first con this year. To fill the time without work I've finished and submitted sets 3, 4 and 5 of my paper minis. The Dragon is proving to be a bit difficult, I'm going to have to do some real engineering to make it work and haven't found the drive yet. Palladium's really busy right now so I don't know how long it will be before they get uploaded to drive through, but here's the preview images for each set. Set 3: NPC Encounters: Set 4: Undead: Set 5: O.C.C.s Female

Oh, and here's my latest commission's mini, Titus, the Longbow Man.

Here's the image I did this mini from, Titus in the woods. I do a character portrait like this for commissions and then give them a paper mini of the character as part of the deal. My rates are in my journal on my DA page.

I think I'm going to go ahead and include 7 female dwarves in the set as well, but I don't do bearded ladies. Here's the Assassin from the set as a sample.

I was expecting to see a female example, the beard was quite a shock!

lol, no, The assassin isn't a female, merely stated beforehand that I was adding females to the set and that they wouldn't have beards. Here's the final preview image, I just emailed the set to the publisher a few minutes ago. Note that not included in this image is the bonus mini of a wolf to be a companion for the Druid.

Okay, after doing the cover for the next Rifter as a RIFTS adventure group, I'm thinking some RIFTS paper minis are a good idea.. This time though I'm thinking a $2.99 price point and only 12 to a package instead of 24-28.. What do you guys think? RIFTS is high-tech, magic, post-apocalyptic setting, so there's several genres and settings that it's minis could potentially cover.. I'll start with character classes from the main book and branch out with variations on the themes. And probably a squad of Deadboys and Dogboys as well.. Here's a Headhunter (Cybernetic Mercenary) I threw together this morning..

Okay, been making quite a bit of progress on RIFTS paper Minis; these are coming out of my mind as fast as I can put them in the computer. What do you guys think?

Thanks Rhannon. I spoke with the publisher yesterday and the fantasy minis should start to hit the store at DrivethruRPG.com as early as next weekend. In the mean time I keep plugging away on these RIFTS sets; Set 1: Adventurers provides 14 minis with male and female versions of each of the RIFTS Ultimate Edition Main Book O.C.C.s in that category; Body Fixer, CityRat, CyberDoc, Rogue Scholar, Rogue Scientist, Vagabond and Wilderness Scout. Here's the front page preview image.

Deadboys (Anti-Magic Human Supremacist Coalition soldiers) are coming along; Pictured here are two infantry, one Platoon Commander, a Specialist and two Psi-Stalkers (mutant humans with psionics that feed on the magic energy of supernatural creatures). And here's that headhunter in both formats with bases.

I like the Deadboys, they remind me of Combine troops from Half-Life.

I like the Deadboys, they remind me of Combine troops from Half-Life. Then Half-Life took their inspiration from RIFTS, which was around a full 9 years before it came out.

In the far-future post-post-apocalyptic setting of RIFTS, myth becomes reality. One such new reality is the return of the undersea civilization of Lemuria. Biological engineers, the Lemurian people face a grave threat from the death worshiping crab-like alien race, the Milu. So evil are these creatures that their upper class are actually vampires, the Mahiki-Milu. Commission for a customer, a set of minis for his RIFTS: Lemuria con game; here's one of the Mahiki-Milu..

I just got word from my editor; he requested two slight typo fixes for sets 4 and 6, and said he was uploading set 3 tonight, with the others following over the next couple of weeks!

There was a delay but set 3 should be in the store today. Meanwhile, the publisher called me and asked that I develop a set or two to accompany the next book release for Palladium Fantasy, Bizantium and the Northern Islands. Pirates, witches, Necromancer barbarians and the sailors they harass.' Two weeks until the book comes out, so two weeks to put the sets together. By then all six of my original sets should be in the market.
