Hey I was just wondering if any of you guys just make flat paper figures just to look at and tinker with, usually in a larger scale, like I do. I would do 3D, but it's too time-comsuming, and I have too many other hobbies, plus, I might be going to college soon. Just wondering what you thought!

I got into paper modeling to make a mobile for my wife. That is the only non-gaming modeling I've ever done. I can't see doing any 2d that is not game related.

I like 2D figures cause you can make a lot of them quickly, easily, and easy to store.

For my kid's birthday I did a 3d black dragon pinata. Not that it is a competition or anything

Right now, I'm working on a papertoy project called "Card Figure Arena," which there'll be several theme packs for player figures, and a bunch of activities and games you can do with them, such as: CardStock Karate--The fighting game I've always been working on www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE3QS5CW7T8X-Turbo--Motocross, BMX, Kart, Skateboards you can put your avatar on and do tricks on ramps, rails, dirt, etc. Foilball--A series of air-hockey-like games where you use your figure to kick an aluminum foil ball into your opponent's goal. If you want to know more, I can always tell you and show you examples!
