Wow - this is a new record. Talk about impatient. :-) Here's "Hill 1" the 6x9x4. I've got it cut out and edged. I'm going to glue it tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous about how flimsy it might be - there aren't any cross-supports included with the model (unlike the very similar WWG's Deadman's Canyon.) Pics and thoughts about this first model tomorrow. Goodnight. Attachments:

As I feared, the center needs some support, though I came up with a really fast and easy solution: I don't know if you can make out the sagging, but it warps the model. My easy fix is a 4" square of cardstock rolled into a tube and taped. 45 seconds later, after placing the model over the tube so it supports the highest clearing, no more sag! I like the textures on this model very much - they make construction alignment easy, since they wrap across pieces. I will probably make all of the hills, though I have no interest in building the bridges (I've got something like 10 bridges built some more printed, etc. I really don't want anymore.) Could someone else do the bridges cutfile?

Here's the cutfiles for Hill 2 (8x8x4) which I'm testing now. When they are all done, I'll package them all up with instructions and everything and post using one of the usual thread headers... Update: Builds fine. I won't bother posting more pix until they're all done. Attachments:

Here's the last (and largest) hill cutfiles. I'm going to do build photos tomorrow, after the glue dries for my anti-slip-on-ramps mod... Attachments:

BTW - I'm still dreading doing the bridge. If anyone wants to take that on, just let me know. I'm likely to release the package tomorrow without it, but would happily delay if someone will do it...

So is thta just a heavy bead of white glue for the mini stops? Or is it a bead of silicone?

My guess is acrylic/latex. Wouldn't silicone be clear? Eh, I guess you can buy it in white, but unless it would mess with the ink or clear-coat, I think clear would work.
