Here's my build (and magnet mod!) Thanks for this model SquirmyDad! For some reason, I think this is a goblin boat. Here's how I break it down for storage. There's a magnet glued between the decking and to the base of the mast for strong attachment during play, but easy removal (slide mast sideways) for storage. Couldn't resist another closeup. A pretty easy build.

Neat! A little goblin coastal raider. Is the washer just glued to the base of the mast or is there any reinforcing material added to the inside of the mast? What kind of magnet is in there? I don't see a bump in the deck and I've never seen any strong sheet magnets, very curious.

Funny you should ask. The magnet inside the deck is 1/32" thick magnetized neodymium that I got at: www.kjmagnetics.com/products.asp?cat=10The glue just failed on the mast as I was looking for the info (stuck to mast, but not the magnet - a clear sheet of glue.... I've got another solution for attachment in my mind, which I will share when it's debugged.

Fixed. Duplicate the technique for attaching to the deck with a flap fold-over mount. The layers from bottom to top - paper-flap, paper-flap, magnet, mast mount (as supplied), top-of-mount-with 1/4" hole.
