I have it from longtime, managed to reduce all ships so that the biggest one can be print on a 10x15cm photo.... but still i have not print the game. What it scares me are the ship TOS. They're 3D, full of switches, things to be put on and other odd pieces. The biggest problem, other than they have to be built is that they takes a LOT OF SPACE.
I've searc in the official forum about them and saw someone was re-designing simple cards to use with beads and chits on them. But: - i can't access wormhole kitbashes 'cause i bought it via RPGNOW, so the Worldworks site don't know i have it - everything seems "dead" about this game, post images are vanished etc.
Having still to try the game i don't know what "flat card TOS" should have on them, or i could try to draw some simple sheet myself. There's anyone here that can help me?
And: what about the game itself? if someone tried it.... does it get to be played or it was parked and no more set on the table?
Thanks.

If you sen Denny over at the WWG forums a PM, I'm sure he can make the Kitbashes available to you.

I actually stated this too! When the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures game came out, it started me thinking about it again. I've built the command tray and printed off lots of TOS units. I also printed & laminated some counters. I haven't even started on the ships. There seems to be a way to make the TOS flat included with the original set. (PDF says "cut here" for flat TOS) The game does seem cool as long as you play with the "order loss" rules but I have yet to actually play. I'd be interested in anyone's take on it too. Maybe someday if I ever get it finished I'll post a pic.

I did contemplate mounting the TOS flat to Flex-metal/rubber and then mount the chits to magnetic sheet. Unfortunately the lack of support for the game and the currently only 1 type of ships, admittedly in 2 different colours and I haven't got around to building any yet. If a 2nd race/fleet was released and officially supported I'd be all over it. The lack of a 2nd unique fleet/race at the moment means heaps of other stuff is way in front on my build roster

I have it from longtime.. the same here. Bought mine a year ago (both verus and the basic set) and never played the TOS space requirement is the matter... - everything seems "dead" about this game, post images are vanished etc. true. Some spaceships done by users "disappeared" after their server problem and after that they never put them online again to download... In my opinion the kitbashing rules make things even harder for the wormhole users... If you want to adapt a Imperial Star Destroyer with a lot of Tie fighters or use the ships from your favorite game/movie you can´t share the job... due to logo, names... suggestion: if we don´t solve the TOS size problem, maybe could we use only the miniatures and use the Full Thrust rules/ship design/ship sheets ;D

suggestion: if we don´t solve the TOS size problem, maybe could we use only the miniatures and use the Full Thrust rules/ship design/ship sheets ;D UH! Full thrust alwasy seemed too much an hassle, to me. I'll use them for Silent Death, is it the same? Jokes apart, yes, we can use the models where we want. Still, i wonder if there's not a way to play with just a flat panel with beads and chits instead of that TOS. I just don't know what that panel should contain.... There's a thread at the forum, but i can't find any useful link, image, or user willing to reply back.

I reduced all the ships by 50% for my version to minimize the amount of space it took up.
I looked at the TOS's, built enough for the 'learning scenario' -- the drive around and destroy asteroids in minimum turns one. Print them and cut along the indicated lines, they can be built as 2D.
Still have the flip up switches and the sliders, no need for beads, etc. If I were to play wormhole the game, I would just make a base with foamcore and stand the 2d sheets up.
But, typically I just use the ships for full thrust.

Same here I just use both wormhole sets ships and dragnoz ships for full thrust. I like the rule system a lot more, it's more customizable, and no need to print and build the TOS trays.

Uh! Did'nt know about it, and i could make good use of that ships!!! Sure, i'd vectorize and realign everything before printing them out.... Anyway: is it an active, ongoing project or an abandoned one? - - - Still no answer from WorldWorks to my PM. I bought Wormhole in a charity offer, then only Mel models. I'd say that they will not see my money anymore.... (being me poor cheap as i am, is not that i'm ruining them, anyway

I only recently came across this. Yes, I like the ships, too.
I'm not sure if it is ongoing or not.
