As several of you know, I'm building a display of a little German village for a nursing home. I'm doing the Romantische Alstadt from Kaukapedia. I'm just going to put it on a cobblestone textured base, if I can find one that doesn't look odd. The best I've found so far is the Multi-colored stone from Wordsworth Model Railway, and maybe it would look okay if I washed out the color a bit, but I am open for suggestions. You can find this one here, www.wordsworthmodelrailway.co.uk/brickpaper.html . It is the WMR2.

I actually used the Brick Generator from this thread cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=linktofreestuff&action=display&thread=4165For brick pattern, I used 'Header' Used the 'special' brick size, and a lighter tan brick color. Results don't look as good in the pdf as it does printed out. When printed, it looks very realistic. Play around with this sometime when you don't know what you want to do. Get it to approximate the look you want, and if you have acrobat or another program, print to pdf, and you will be amazed.
