... I need some helps, please. "Okko: Era of the Asagiri" ( boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/29602/okko-era-of-the-asagiri ) is a 2008 french boardgame. A miniatures' game without miniatures ( at least when it was published, later they came out but that's not my problem ). The theme of the game is a tactical fight between squads ( demon-hunters and demonic bands ) set in a medieval fantasy Japan. Many people say that it is an excellent game that balances well easy and fun while others speak of really much luck. But even that is not my problem. In the box there are many beautiful (in my opinion) paper minis. And so also in its three expansions. This game has been published by three different publishers. "Asmodee" ( which is the original publisher ) for France and perhaps for the international market. "Idea Edizioni", only for Italy. And "Hazgaard Editions" for the anglophone market and for the international market. But there are a german edition and probably spanish too. So I do not understand well. In an Italian forum that reviews this game I read that the figures have all backs in black. But on boargamegeek I see pictures with colored and well done rears. but I have seen too, always on BoardGameGeek, black rears figures. and then I saw these (sadly): But they are the same figures that first I saw with complete front and back. So now I do not understand anything. I have the same problem with the expansions of this boardgame. First expansion "Okko, Era of the Karasu" In these pictures the figures are sided regularly. Second expansion "Okko, Yakuza Hazu Akai" These have a black reverse side. Third expansion "Okko, Pajan Gun'Taï" Again with front and back. Now this game is out of production. But in Italy and France (on ebay or in e-shops) it is, ad its expansions, at low prices (cheaper than in the U.S.). So I'm intending to buy them but before I would like to understand this thing about figures. I suppose that it might be matter of different producers, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have this boargame and can help me, please?

Couldn't resist, it's a shame there isn't any more front and back illustrations on the site... (Added to the Forum Compilation #3 - www.onemonk.com/guest-dl.html )

That "foggy feet" idea works fine on backs. There are some Patrick Crusiau figures that could benefit from that little trick.

There was a post by a new user. But now it is gone. I'd like to thank this person for his help. Thanks you very much. Unfortunately, the link did not work. Or, more likely, my limited language knowledge did not allow me to figure out how.

Hi "mreerie", First of all you excuse me, please, for my bad english. This forum's users tolerate me and try to understand what I say. But sometimes I know I'm quite incomprehensible. I'm sorry. My first thank was a true thank. It was not ironic. The link did not work but this was not a problem. You tried to help me anyway. But now it works ( and, to be sure, I downloaded all the forty sets ) And ... wow!!!!!!! forty!!!!!! I regret why I never found your site. Then my ability to search is not so good. Wonderful figures!, Ok not all have back art, but they are all gorgeous. All! ... And Okko figures have all back art ... Thank you very much "mreerie". PS: This evening I bother you with a PM. I'm sorry. Ciao

I can´t access to the links It's a free hosting and it has a very low bandwidth. I'm really lucky. 40 files for 196 MB.

(Excuse me for my english...) 1 - welcome aboard taltali. 2 - Your English is much better than mine. Don't worry. ;D 3 - the link is very useful. And I had forgotten to report it. So thank you very much. 4 - two weeks ago, after reading a news on okko-zegame ( it is really a good site ), I bought Okko and its expansions from a French seller, ludikbazar. They are cheap and have all paper figures with front and back. 5 - for those interested here is another useful link: lilian.ludo.free.fr/Okko/Thank you again.
