Thanks! Everyone's support on here really means a lot to me. I'm most excited about this game because it is aimed to be played with younger players. The next generation of tabletop gamers is really important. The mini game series will not be all aimed at kids, but it's important to address younger players as well as us ... ahem... experienced gamers.

I think the cover would work. Let me know. If it is too small I'll post the larger version.

Oh man too cool! You're art style is so perfect for this!
With the predominately light colored the white outlines simply enhance the look more than AH where its dark and the stark white area around the figures are (imo) actually a detriment.
Off to buy right now!

Question! We have been playing for a few hours now and this just came up as we worked our way through the missions.
In the rules hth combat is mentioned in 2 places. In the mission Snowmangeddon it says "you can also attack in hand to hand with the same -3 modifier." But there is no section that outlines how to fight in hand to hand or why this would be needed or if it would be better than throwing a snowball. And since 1-4 squares is +1 to attack with a snowball, it seems like there is no mandatory hth for being adjacent. So we were just wondering what is the hth procedure for this game?
Also, this game is super fun and we are enjoying it alot. The only question we had was about hth. However, true to form, I have been getting my tail handed to me by my Wife. Always happens when I teach her a new game, but having a Wife that loves gaming is half the fun! ;D

The HTH mention? That is a bit of a hold-over from katana schoolgirls I think. It's really just a reminder that when the snowman is beside you you can just say "I grab his hat" though it would be better to whip a snowball. I wasn't stressing hth because I was discouraging having the kids "hit" each other.
I am very glad the game is being played and people are having fun with it. Yay!

This has been a ton of fun! My wife and i love it. I had to go back and get the Katana school girls game as well.
One thing though. I made the mistake (so called) of showing her the battle action reports that you posted of the natives and invaders and the others of the space patrol. Now she wants to know what the chances are of getting equipment cards and stuff for those genres that match up with the snowball wars/katana schoolgirls stuff so we can do adventures like those!
Keep up the great work! ;D I get to play my God-son tonight. He's 7.

Hey, someone pointed out that I managed to get to #1 on Wargame Vault. That sort of makes me feel like releasing the first booster set this weekend. I'm thinking of aiming for Sunday night, but most likely Monday afternoon. Re. cards and stats for the other lines: I'm working on it... really.

Awesome on all counts, and congrats on number1!! I learned one thing tonight. My God-son is sneaky. Also he took much pleasure in splatting my guys with snowballs and leaving me for the zombie snowmen. ;D

I think that what I've learned from this set is to keep making sets that I WANT to make and that are FUN to make because these sets end up being the ones that capture people's imaginations. I will get a chance to work on the booster set tonight. I'm thinking booster sets will be quick 1-2 page sets designed to be created quickly and will retail for a buck. It will help quickly build up the number of minis for some series that have been languishing.

That is so darn cool! Thanks for making those tokens. I tried to keep the game simple and thought some new players would be intimidated by tokens, but I really like how you did them. Can't wait to use them.

Great battle report Squirmydad. I was really pulling for Timmy in that game! That was a bold move running into the corner like that, and then pelting them with snowballs. ;D
