I'm looking for some nice cars' models (especially rally and street cars but not only ). But this is an unknown area to me.
Is there any advice, please? links to commercial producers (which I prefer) or even good free products?
Thanks.

Well, i "hate" paper made cars 'cause the insane amount of curves and wheel. But, if you're not too "choosy" about the model details, google for "art66 papercraft": i can't find his site anymore but there's a lot of his simply models around in the web. One of that is this: sp-papelmodelismo.blogspot.it/Other links: Super deformed cars: www.telefonica.net/web2/tonicorral/papers.htm

Thank you very much, guys. Parduz: Thanks but this is not what I'm looking for. Too simple models, deformed or super deformed in the end they are only colored parallelepipeds. @vermin King: Yes. They are. I'm looking for models in 1/24 or 1/43 scale. Ymjr's models are fine, thanks. I prefer 1/24 scale because the models are a little bigger. And possibly an intermediate ( or easy ) difficult to build. They should be my "cardboard" proposal for an old man who ,several years ago, built sports cars models. Now, however, he should resume his skills. Is there any commercial product with instructions, photos ... ?

Rhannon, I suppose you have already checked the Cars section on Ecardmodels: ecardmodels.com/cars-c-57_66_23.htmlThere are some sports and old cars there that seem realistic and very detailed (although probably hard to build, I don't know...)

No, there is not a particular model that I'm looking for. Even the theme, rally cars, it is not mandatory. It is preferable but does not preclude anything. Let's say that the scale and difficulty of the subject is more important than theme. So, thanks very much again King. These links are very useful to me.

Heh Rhannon These might be a bit smaller than you are looking for but have you tried Volkers models? www.streetpaper.de has a range of civilian vehicles/fire engines/ military man trucks/police etc www.racepaper.de has sports and rally cars www.dakar.racepaper.de/ has rally vehicles (mainly 4x4's and trucks) from the history of the Daker rally take a look and see what you think mags!

I've been doing a bunch of Volker's models lately. 1/43 for the scale. Volker really added a lot to his collections since the beginning of Advent. Without instructions, there has been a little head scratching, but the models are very good.
Oh, I forgot to mention that printing at 71.66% gives you 1/60 scale. I usually just print at two pages per page and call it good

Is there any advice, please? links to commercial producers (which I prefer) or even good free products? Ahh... was trying but couldn't resist... Well I'm definitely far from being an car/auto model publisher by any means... But I do love cars, with special love for Italian ones! So here is (very simple en profile) Alfa Romeo 156 Sedan (Bella!) ...and here are mines own (Giugiaro Edition, Rosso Siena colour) Bella photos: As you can see mine beloved Alfa is on a small 16' steel winter-type wheels at these pictures (taken in late fall) - obviously she looks much much(!) more dynamic and so better on bigger 18' black summer alu-wheels! Actually I do like this one car more than any other cars - she's got that both joyful and mysterious something which is missing for other cars! BTW: these windows (first picture) - that's the place when I'm usually working:) Anyway let me know if you want some more simple en-profile cars?
