I'm currently working on Orcs set #2 (working title Lizard Riders..?) Let me spare you all the marketing/PR blah-blah but this one really looks promising, here is a small preview to tease you: However during assembling figurines I realized that there is a quite big potential for modders, as the most "parts" of each figurine are in fact separate items. So having MOD-KIT with different versions of each part (various weapons/equipment for figurines and colours for other parts) it could be possible to complete/assemble a lot of variations - just like assembling from LEGO blocks. The one can not only change and mix parts but also change position and slope of figurines. It would be crazy amount of work to made it as layered PDF, so I'm rather considering separate sheets with components (something like in Dwarves #3 King's Throne set - vide preview below). Of course "assembled" figurines will lack some effects (for example there will be no shield or rider shadow on mount etc.) but thats obviously "price" for more flexibility and variations. Now again due to the time and effort needed it (IF?) would be released most probably as standalone MOD-KIT set. Kinda expansion set for basic Orcs II Lizard Riders (the one with premade, ready to cut-out minis) released somewhere in future. The question is -- would you like such a specific, modders dedicated set? Hmm... any thoughts? ---

I really like the idea of a modding kit as an add-on to your professionally made pre-made set.
The more options for variety, the better!
Love your stuff and will buy it all!

Thanks for support guys - it's awesome to hear that someone appreciates something you do! Update - at the moment I have ca. 10 minis ready, so I think that I can start to assemble sheets. I just need to run check-out in order to eliminate some silly mistakes (vide halberd staff passing through rider's body on preview...) ;D

I find myself coming back to RPGNow... time and time again... to see if Orcs II Lizard Riders has yet been released!!!! How long, Mesper? HOW LONG !?! Have fun! Steve Part #1 done! However... I've divided the whole "mounted orcs sub-series" into 2 separate parts/sets - lizards and raptors (not sure about set#2 naming, so perhaps other dino/sneaky/forest beasts?!?) *Thing is that I've created a lot of minis and noticed that there is no chance to put all these into one set - (In order to be fair to users I should keep kinda "backward compatibility" - so all orkish sets should include bonus ASPECT version - and EACH page with full-colour figurines=3 aspect pages => shadow/blood/nature in this case). But actually all this might turn into an advantage! (from USER point of view:) - as during progress I'm adding new/extended versions! Actually it's a LOT of FUN for me - sometimes I'm changing such a small pieces/details that probably no one will even admit - but add to this some major changes in weapons, equipment, some posing mods and last but not least textures, colours etc... dunno, but for me some figurines looks more fresh, some kinda better, some just different etc... well - de gustibus... hope that this effort will result in more variety/choice for gamers? --- *) - that's kinda similar issue Lordzsezse nailed (vide: cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=lordzsezseworks&thread=4729&page=1#49777)
While it's not a problem to post on a forum then when it comes to PUBLISHING, things goes not so easy'n'straightforward... for a non-native English speaker it always feels like mine-field! That's why I do really APPRECIATE ALL sort of feedback - not only regarding arts - including comments, suggestions and even spelling corrections in info / teasers / released content.
Hmm... I should probably post something like Lordzsese did, offering some kind of collaboration...

OOPS!
On the second page of each type of orcish lizard riders, the red scoring line of the two upper horizontal figures is slightly off-skew!
I can still score the folds, but not by following the red line!
I'm sure this will be taken care of shortly. Thanks!
Have fun! Steve

Oops - right!!! THANKS!!!Already corrected in source files - but there is also another (quite silly) mistake I'd like to address - probably just a few people will notice but still... plus it's simple but kinda annoying/time consuming bug (vide programming:) so I'll need couple of hours to redo and compile all the files - thus I can address it rather tomorrow (it's past 2 at night here right now) Still these ruler-lines = such a plain error - really shame on me:))) According to the golden rule the one should never attempt to change/better-up already finished content in "last minute". There is an old saying that sometime "The perfect is worse than good" or something like this - sorry, don't remember English version.
