A brand new set of Kev's Lounge paper minis coming your way. The figures are scaled to 28mm, but stand about 2" tall, and will look good alongside most popular brands of miniatures and all manner of 28mm scaled scenery. Each model has a distinctive front and back, and both sides feature rich and gorgeous detail. The detail is boosted by the high resolution of the PDF, and the colours have good contrast to make them pop at a distance! The colours are customisable, and are controlled by clickable buttons embedded right in the PDF. There is also an option to have your computer randomly pick a combination for you! The set also includes brand new 50mm round bases. A whole range of new bases at this size will soon be available for this set, along with cutfiles for it. The Terrors of the Rocklands paper minis set is now available on Papercraft Dungeon! It's going on for only $1.99 for the rest of July 2013

Hey Kevin!
Just bought this new set!
I love them!
My only request is that you have an option to have the figures in an outline rather than a black blob around the fig. I suppose this could be a layer option?
Otherwise, GREAT!

Cut files for this set are now available! This set is also available on RPGNow. Hey Kevin! Just bought this new set! I love them! My only request is that you have an option to have the figures in an outline rather than a black blob around the fig. I suppose this could be a layer option? Otherwise, GREAT! onemonkeybeau Thanks! The black blob is just a result of me taking the perfect concentric outline and filling in or smoothing out the concave parts of it. I figured the folks who were good at cutting the complex shapes would cut the notches out anyway, while the folks who struggled with hand cutting would be grateful for the breathing room. I may go back in and add a tighter trimming line as a layer option though, for those who want it... Just depends how much time I have available. The cutfiles are set up to trim them tight.

Just collected my set, and am really knocked-out by the detail in places, and the options, particularly for that Earth Elemental, way beyond what I'd expected just peering at the images here while online! Sorry though, that "Crested Drake" should really be a Wyvern!!
Good looking larger bases too; look forward to the promised variant textures for these.

Love the figures - and the range of colouring options is amazing.
Have to admit though, took me awhile to work out the basing instructions. Very confusing for a bear of little brain like me....

Thanks a lot for your support guys! Just collected my set, and am really knocked-out by the detail in places, and the options, particularly for that Earth Elemental, way beyond what I'd expected just peering at the images here while online! Good looking larger bases too; look forward to the promised variant textures for these. The earth elemental was a lot of work, but I'm really very pleased with the way it turned out. It's a little more cartoony than what I'd usually aim for, but he's got a lot of character. Got some bases set up. I intend to upload them to the shop tonight. Sorry though, that "Crested Drake" should really be a Wyvern!! Haha! I've been waiting for this comment ever since I first typed the name "Crested Drake" on to the bottom of the figure, recalling that lengthy conversation we had in that other thread about dragons and their limbs. I deliberately made these ones smallish and more bird like, while I tend to think of Wyverns as being fairly large and reptilian (and equipped with a venomous sting in the tail). Love the figures - and the range of colouring options is amazing. Have to admit though, took me awhile to work out the basing instructions. Very confusing for a bear of little brain like me.... The bases are slightly tricky at first glance, because the build method involves a little origami alchemy rather than the usual "cut out and stick together" direct route. They are fairly simple to build and use once you understand how they work though. I have put a fair bit of effort into making the instructions as clear as possible, but if there was anything in particular that was confusing, please let me know so that I can improve it for future purchasers.

There are a handful of alternative 50mm round bases on Papercraft Dungeon now. Will be adding more in the near future. In other news, today is the last day to take advantage of this special price! If you haven't picked up a copy of the Terrors of the Rocklands set already, grab one right now!

These are nice (just picked mine up), but maybe more "outdoorsy" 50mm bases might have been more useful initially, given the nature of the "Terrors"? Then again, three at least could just as easily be bursting up through a dungeon floor, I guess!

Then again, three at least could just as easily be bursting up through a dungeon floor, I guess! You're quite right... I do have some more textures on the way, including a bunch of outdoor ones. I just started with those because they're the most common textures in my sets and I'm juggling a few responsibilities right now, along with the nastiest case of flu I've ever had to suffer through, so I'm not sure when I'll get the time to upload them (I am hoping to find some time this weekend though).

...the nastiest case of flu I've ever had to suffer through... Very sorry to hear that. Hope things pick up soon, but given that 'flu usually takes about six weeks to clear the system fully, don't rush things till you actually feel up to it; it's all too easy to make yourself worse again.
