Excellent! As much as I appreciate the more-cartoony nature of your usual stuff - I love the extra detail that has gone into this!!!

Brave Adventures' minis are actually drawn by 3 different people. This mini was drawn by Gaston Genser. I drew the shadowrun inspired minis in our multi-figure submission. I'm not at his level yet, but maybe someday. Ryan

This is an excellent mini. when I did a printscreen print, to see how it looked, the globe on the staff gets lost in the border, however. Lightening it up a little or changing the color will probably help this. I ended up just trimming the border closer to the globe. Like I said, an excellent mini, but with a minor change would be a super-fantastic one.

Hmm, some of the darkness may be due to the quality of the photo, but I will keep that in mind when I put the mini up for download. It's fairly simple to lighten it up. I'd take another photo but I'm guessing you can't edit your entry after the deadline.

While I find the blank eyes a little off-putting, I really enjoy this mini, especially all the little accoutrements hung around his person. At first I thought those little details might get lost at tabletop scale, but shrinking the image down (albeit only on my computer screen), they still are clear enough, and lend more visual interest to the character. I like his firmly planted, ready-for-action stance, and the strong build. This is clearly a battle-hardened mage who knows what he's doing. Great job!

At least you're not at the opposite end of the continent, having to contend with being up earlier than anyone else, and a half-hour off everybody, like my friends in Newfoundland & Labrador.

I'm sure you know, Anne, that much of the New York skyline was built by Newfoundlanders and Labradorians because their experience on tall ships made them comfortable working at hights. I believe that some day the secret to the survival of humanity will rest on the ability to quickly add 30 in a base 60 number system and we will have a whole province of people ready and able to save us all.
