I'm not looking to commission anything. I want to know what options I have among existing stuff. I wasn't sure about the correct place to ask, but others were using this section for the same purpose. I figured It must be as good a place as any.
Im a big fan of Kill Doctor Lucky. Its a board game that's been done as a full art retail release, but is also available in its original form as a free print and play game. Its basically the prequel to the game Clue. Check it out here: www.cheapass.com/node/62 The print and play version actually includes more content than the retail version, but it doesn't have art. I want to make my own 3D board and components for the game, because I can, and it would be awesome.
I need a good Victorian Mansion terrain set. I know about Shellendrak manor from WorldWorksGames. It will work just fine for what I want. I would still like to know if there are any other options out there.
The big thing I need help finding is paper miniatures for the characters. They are just civilians, so no weapons. I don't want Victorian era either. Anytime in the 20th century is good, but I want them all to be the same style, so probably all from the same artist. There needs to be at least 11 different figures. More than that is good too, as it will allow people to role-play better. My friends and I really get into this game! I also need a dog. I will allow for that not to fit in as well with rest of the figures. It should be a domestic dog, and preferably not vicious looking.
So if you guys know of stuff that would work well for this project, point me in the right direction. Don't feel like you have to go too far out of your way for this though. I do have a backup plan for the figures, and as I said earlier, I know of a terrain set that will work.
